The management of Akowonjo Business Unit got the shocker of their lives, when the First Consumer Forum ended abruptly following wild chants of "All we are saying give us meter" and a walk our by attendees of the Forum. Representatives of Ikeja Electric certainly too for granted the disgust it had built over the last three years with crazy bills, total absense of power and the none availability of pre-paid meters. Stakeholders within Alimosho had resolved that ikeja electric must meter every customer, outrightly cancel all backlog of crazy bills and improve power supply otherwise 'we will not pay" was their final words.
