Climate change affects the more. There is little or no rain as predicted. Fulani herdsmen killing farmers that makes use of irrigation as an alternative source is another factor. Nigeria is not a country.

If we had responsible leaders, they would have outlawed these nomadic herdsmen by now. We can't survive on meat we need food crops more importantly. In abuja Fulani's are the one sellin mangoes. It implies they probabyl steal these mangoes

cramjones:
It is no longer news that Nigeria is gradually slipping from frying pan to fire. For many Nigerians this year have been likened to living in hell on earth. It is the reason why celebrity fights or scandals online make big news, because most Nigerians find some entertainment on those, in the midst of the burning hardship. The talk about the economy is one for another day, but today, I told myself that it would be criminal to keep mute to the ethnic cleansing going on in Nigeria, and the sins of the inept an leadership by the Presidency in this regard. In this light, I would state the 4 sins the president have committed with his handling of this ethnic group's terrorism across the country.

1. The President Buhari has failed to recognize the grave danger of the Fulani terrorists group. He has failed to recognize that they are much more dangerous than Boko Haram that the world is more focused on. Why is this so. Boko Haram has largely limited its capability to the NorthEastern part of Nigeria, occassionally they had hit soft targets in Kogi and Abuja, but other than that they are have been confined to North, and now to the fringes of the Sambisa forest. By contrast, the Funali terrorists are nomads, and have essentially waged war in the whole country by brutally wiping out villages, and growing from strength to strength. No one feels safe in their villages any more, and the quicker the President declares his ethnic herds men as terrorist the better for the rest of Nigeria.

2. The silence in the face of the massacre that occurred in Agatu, only speaks volumes of what is to come. GEJ made the same mistake, and today Nigeria remains on the brink, and would only need a little push to tip it off the cliff. We saw what the silence of GEJ did to the Chibok girls and many other mass kidnappings and killings that was only met with silence from the Presidency. Today PMB is repeating same. No sane president would keep mute to such horrendous atrocity taking place in his country, and yet console the people of Belgium for the ISIS attacks. It reminds me when clueless GEJ sent his condolence to the people of France and kept mute to the wipe out that happened in Baga. This again would lead some of the PDP billionaires that had stolen massive amounts from the arms deal to infiltrate the Fulani terrorist financially to destroy Nigeria and make PMB's government incapable to lead.

3. Lying about the number of people killed by the Fulani terrorists in Enugu. The official figures from the IGP says 6. While people in the village say at least 200. It is up to you to chose who you want to believe. Lying about the number of causalities, only tell the people one thing: Their lives do not matter. As such the Igbos can as well start killing every "awusa" person in their midst. People are pushed in this direction when such sort of violence and massacre occurs with a mute response from authorities. At best the governor told them to "fast and pray". Yes, you heard right!

4. Not addressing the nation on enough: It looks like PMB is beholding to western powers than he is to the Nigerian that gave him their mandate. We don't hear from him in the midst of the fuel crises, economic hardship and other pertinent issues in the state. This is wrong. For a country deep in crises, the president must find it one of priority to address the many problems plaguing this country.

PMB needs to pay attention to the country he is governing, the prospects of the direction we are headed is grave and dangerous. More must be done. We cannot hand over from incompetence to incompetence. Great leaders learn from mistakes in the past, while incompetent and failed leaders repeat the mistakes from the past. We need the former and reject the latter.

A word is a enough for the wise!

Nigeria is blessed with abundant natural resources and rich farmland. every region has its own commodity that's in great need by other regions. eg yoruba land produce colanut, palm oil, cassava and vegetables etc. while north produce tomatoes, sugarcane, millet, maize,cattles/goat/ram and vegetables etc. in the South West/South south they also food crops, vegetables and crude oil. what I want us to understand here is we cannot survive without each other. As wise man says :NO COMMUNITY IS SELF SUFFICIENT IN THE PRODUCTION OF AGRICULTURE AND FINISH PRODUCTS, COMMUNITIES MUST IN ENGAGE IN TRADING WITH ONE ANOTHER. we should not let our religious/regional/tribal sentiments divide us. when elephants engage in fight it's only the grass that suffer.

The hate is getting deeper.
I keep saying this- hatred as devastated not only the hearts but the minds of some Nigerians. It has become so bad their minds are beginning to process images that don't tally with the feeds they get from their vision: how many places the heardmen attacked? After all their attacks are reprisals because they and their animals are been killed on daily basis and bias media is silent about it.
Here you have herdsmen either taking cattle for grazing or back from grazing from/to their confinement, posters now made it sound like it is taboo to find the cattle where they are.

What is there to gain from diminishing these people? Where is the doctrine of love that you always claim as Christians?? Haven't we been seeing such images in our cities since forever?? Why are you people making it sound like this is a new thing?? Haven't nomads been part and parcel of our society for decades??
Where are the AK47s some people have been trying hard to tell the world they always bear with themselves??

With our minds twisted so badly by hatred, imagine what people like the poster would say should something of a similar nature happen today.

You people should stop adding fuel to a fire that would consume you while the politicians who would gain some capital from all of these inflammable comments would disappear with their families to a distant safe house.

Yh I can confirm. Am in Warri Delta state. The women now sell garri for 500 naira which was previously 250 (even as at the time of dollar and fuel scarcity). Their excuse was that Fulani and their cows stampeded on the cassava plants (especially on isoko villages).

I seriously don't know what to say

But is their claim genuine...is it every body that farm very close to the house where cattle can graze.. ??

Yes, a big fat yes!

All the major food producing states are under seige by herdsmen, government has not provided one single imput to farmers for this year's rainy season farming due to the needless prevarication over something as mundane as budget signing, and the rains are also delayed.

The fear of farming and higher food prices in 2017 is real.

Sai Buhari!

The farms are located at back of the villages. When the grasses at the front (where there's main road) are finished, the men would direct the cows to the back. That's how it's done in ozoro

GRAZING RESERVE BILL.
cry cry
Please continue to pass this leaked information until every Yoruba, Igbo and all Christian parts of Nigeria gets alerted.
This was planned many years by Fulanis as a strategic way to Islamization of Nigeria.
That was why Buhari continued running for presidency even at his old age because they knew he is the most possible mean to achieve their goal.
In 1804 - 1808. Fulanis came in from Guinea to the Northern part of Nigeria, led by Usman Dan fodio .He lead in jihad against the Hausa kingdoms of the northern Nigeria. The forces of Usman dan Fodio slowly took over more and more of the Hausa kingdoms through war. By 1810, Fulanis had already conquered all hausas.
They formed boko haram sect solely for the process, waiting for Buhari or any of their Fulani brother to come in power but Unfortunately, Goodluck Jonathan came into power and they became annoyed.
They started their violence to distract him and whether it was Yoruba or Igbo that was on the seat during GEJ'S regime. The same thing could've still happened about Boko haram.
Now their dream has been achieved having their brother on top.
Here is their plan.
They started herdsmen war believing that they have the chance to control all parts of the country since they are in power and forces.
If GRAZING RESERVE BILL is passed and achieved, It means that Fulanis will have a place mapped out for them in all 36 states of Nigeria.
The next thing is that, they will start bringing in their wives and children to increase their population.
With time, they will have their Emir installed in every 36 states which will eventually take part in every leadership community gatherings.
They will eat into every community like worms and the place given to them can never be taken away from them again since it has been passed.
Their sect will be ready to strike in every state and community with no hiding place for anyone since they have known every corners of our community.
It is then that we will beg them to stop killing us for we are ready to become Muslims in order to live.
This is the only time we have to reject this because tomorrow might be late for us to act.
