I don't know how small your pockets are (using skinny wears? ) but 5.5 doesn't protrude in most pocket, even those not compact at all. Talking about compact, 8 mm thickness isn't bad at all. Will take it over compact of 6mm and bad battery (be prepared to carry generator around)
