My deliverance came through when I stumbled on Xiaomi, and fim, rest is history. The rants everywhere, including from tech enthusiasts are more like a general chorus/consensus that those devices are horrible.

The processor on the A10 is far better than that on the 8A. And I wouldn't argue about the screen brightness with you. When I had it, I compared it with other midrange devices in its price range And the difference was over clear

Abi o, some people are still in love with the 5.0/5.2" screen size but if we look at the dimensions the difference in size is not that much, thanks to the cease for higher screen to body ratio

Well, it's good for gaming, perfect even, for the price. The phone is a lot, if you ask me. Performance is great, again, for the price. Miui is dope and I just love it. The only real con you might notice, as I have, this past couple of days, is the lack of fingerprint, and that is, if you're coming from a phone with fingerprint. You might find your finger reaching to the back of the phone unknowingly, for fingerprint unlock . But, it's a worthy device overall. You can't go wrong.

it depends on your definition of beast ,my tecno s5 that i used was around 4.5yrs old before it stopped receiving network before i jumped ship(redmi note 5) and since then i haven't regretted it
