COROMO and two other villages in Taraba State have fallen under brutal attack by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen killing as many as twelve people.

Other victims of the attack include  women, children, and many houses were reportedly burnt down in the process.

The reason for the attacks remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report but unconfirmed sources attributed the attack to farm lands dispute between the residents and the invading Fulani herdsmen.

The attackers reportedly stormed the communities in the early hours and unleashed fury on the communities.

Mezie Times effort to confirm the development from Taraba State Commissioner of Police were unsuccessfull as repeated calls to his phone numbers rang unanswered.
