http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/niger-delta-avengers-will-regret-consequences-of-their-actions-military/ The statement read: “The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) is not unaware of the emergence of a group in the Niger Delta region who have vowed to cripple economic activities through pipeline vandalism, oil theft and kidnap of expatriate workers in that region; it will not hesitate to deploy every available resources to deal decisively with any threats to economic lifeline of the nation. “The military will employ all available means and measures within its rule of engagement to crush any individual or group that engages in the destruction of strategic assets and facilities of the government in the Niger Delta or any other location and they will stand to regret the consequences of their actions. The whole world has seen what they are causing in terms of economic terrorism against the nation and would be treated as criminals in line with the laws of the land. “While the military and other security agencies would continue to put in place more proactive measures within the creeks and other places to fish out those responsible for the heinous crime, it will remain focused and assure oil companies and law abiding community members of their safety and protection of their sanctity. 23 Likes 1 Share |

The military would be on a failed mission if all they're planning to do is just to intimidate. Until the underlying problem of resource control is revisited there won't be peace. Anyway the more innocents they kill in the ND the easier it is for the militants to recruit. 107 Likes 8 Shares |

There's an adage in Yoruba that when fly is feeding on a victim with wound or sour nobody talks but when the victim retaliate and eat up the fly the everyone begin to raise alarm. Those that suppose to warn the NDA should do so on time before Buhari crush them because it will involve affecting innocent lives and properties. 17 Likes 1 Share |

https://www.thecable.ng/even-osinbajo-knows-buhari-ruling-medieval-mindset-says-pat-utomi “The problem with Buhari’s administration is his medieval mindset. He excludes rather than includes. So, he does not get the best idea,” Utomi was quoted as saying. “He is insular. I don’t push him in this conversation but I am sure that if I put my friend, the vice president under pressure, he will admit what I am saying. Because of their medieval mindset, they have created a country that is more divided than they met it. And that is a problem for leadership that is marching towards progress.” When asked how long Nigerians might wait for the change they voted for, he said: “Everything is based on context. Take a look at the mismanagement of this fuel thing; the whole idea is nonsensical. “It doesn’t have to go on like this; you are punishing Nigerian people unnecessarily. The sufferings that Nigerians have endured in the last couple of weeks over this petrol crisis have reduced productivity. If you throw it open to people across the world to bring petrol to Nigeria and sell at any price, you will discover that within a year, the price of petrol will be lower than the government’s fixed price today. “You (Buhari) set up a committee called transition committee. It suggested that you deregulate the whole thing about crude oil, but no, you won’t. Your ideas go back 30 years and they are irrelevant to this world. Open up your mind and listen to people and you can make progress. To lead is to serve. “To lead, you must be knowledgeable. People don’t follow somebody who doesn’t know where he is going. Otherwise, you fall into a ditch.” 45 Likes 3 Shares |

lilprinze: Who dont know Buhari is a tribalist. Giving Amnesty to Boko Haram that murdered hundreds of thousand of Nigerians and supporting his murderous and rapist fulani men. Militant never killed Nigerians, Buhari was the one that started attack on NigerDelta with bombing of peaceful Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom. Then saying to inactive militant, he will crush them after refusing to pay them amnesty. Buhari masterminded this new wave of militancy. 53 Likes 4 Shares |

waternogetenemy:Nigeria politicians including politicians from the iger Delta are the biggest criminals in the whole world. The Niger Deltans should hold their politicians viz: Governors; Local Government Chairmen; State Legislators; Senators, accountable. It is not the armed forces that impoverished them. It is their own leaders 10 Likes 1 Share |

omenka: Times have changed, Buratai and Buhari already have cases to answer in ICC with Shite, Biafra unarmed peaceful protesters and more. SS/SE is not their constituency and as such any move down south will fail. SS/SE never voted Buhari and are calling for opt-out from further union with SW and North. Obama is on his way out, the whites are back and will never tolerate attacks on civilians. Buhari and Buratai will surely face ICC for crimes against humanity. 42 Likes |

PMB is a retired military man, if he really want to level Niger Delta Creet fight, like the way OBJ levelled Odi, he knows quite well that, that can easily be done via air strikes (the newly acquired US fighter jets can do that). Niger Delta Avengers will be foolish to expect a deployment of army for Creek fight if PMB is serious about his treat. Foot soldiers are good at ground battle, navy are good at sea fight while Airforce are good at creek fight ( on air). Shooting of AK47 and others is not effective on fighter jets which I'm yet to see any with the the Niger Delta Avengers and if they own one, they need a trained military pilot to operate it. They need to go and read ' The casualties' written by John Pepper Clark. No region can win the physical battle with FG anytime any day. South Africans and lots of Africans that have no crude oil are surviving. You can not put the whole nation into jeopardy because of crude oil or whatever! 11 Likes |
