A student rally has turned ugly after protesters clashed with police outside one of Australia’s top universities.
Students took the streets to stage heated protests against funding cuts to higher education in the Turnbull government’s first budget, including $2 billion cuts to higher education.
The protest began peacefully, but scuffles with police broke out along Broadway shopping centre before rally moved onto the University of Technology Sydney.http://www.buzorpages.com/2016/05/students-clash-with-police-in-heated.html
