I just told you that the same US more than a decade ago had difficulties picking out mobile launchers on the ground which led to the scud attack on Israel In 1991. Why do you think countries even the US favours mobile launchers for air defence in a theatre as vast as Russia it would take an invading force years to cripple its air defence capability, that would be if air strikes carried out by the aggressor would amount to anything. During the Serbian war NATO jets were busy wasting their overpriced munitions on worthless assets and dud SAM launchers while the real assets were logded in bunkers waiting for NATO to make the foolish decision of ground fight against a systematically entrenched enemy that have spent years perfecting ways to defend its territory. During the second gulf war the US was again forced to fight on the ground after wasting million worth of precision munitions on worthless civilian targets. They had to send in the marines against the poor unorofessional foot soldiers of Iraq that were already tired from staying in the trenches for months,the Iraqis readily gave up themselves and they moved on to Baghdad to face the more elite republican guards and they were able to overcome them with their heavily mechanised battle formation.
