Vidic could have closed him down earlier but was backing up like Awilo dancing carolina. grin grin

Dzeko came in january when Tevez was in top form and Mancini wasnt ready to rock the boat, Now in his full season 4 goals vs Tottenham a top team

You should tattoo his name to your body

what did the same dzeko do against a defence of johnny evans and phil jones?
phil made a mince meat of dzeko's height. kept taking the ball from him like dzeko is a child.
when dzeko sees phil again, he will be shitting kittens.

vidic is not at fault for dzeko's goal. . . .stop making things up.
vidic has been Desecrating dzeko since 2009. vidic was on the pitch when rooney scored an overhead kick. . . .the same dzeko carrick sodomized in wolfsburg when carrick played as a central defender. . .who be dzeko?
dzeko did shyte on the day.  if vidic meets dzeko again, vidic will eat him alive.

Now can you say King Dzeko is my Godd? grin

thats what a Bundesliga striker can do

Medjai, Whats up with Fernando Torres??

Aguero will end up the better striker once he settles. Dzeko strikes me as being a lucky recipient of an on-fire Nasri today.
Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by dayokanu(m): 3:47pm On Aug 28, 2011
^^ I think Tevez and Aguero should be the same mould

If Tevez comes back Aguero should be the one sitting. Only Edin offers any form of height upfront

hindsight analysis. . . . .
up until yesterday, skysports pundits are saying edin dzeko and gareth barry would be the ones out of the team.

yaya toure and de jong to sit.
tevez, nasri and silva roaming to support aguero.

city don't need any height. they didn't need height last season when tevez was scoring goals for fun.
Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by dayokanu(m): 3:55pm On Aug 28, 2011
Citeh is not a possesion based team and they need varieties upfront having Tevez and Aguero on the same field would run into each others lanes

I like this team too but i would sell Tevez, he doesnt fit.The two upfront in Dzeko and Aguero with Nasri and Silva roving is better.

they are now a possession team.
this is why they bought nasri, aguero, david silva, etc.
all the players above can play any position in the final third - just like barcelona.

when you see teams with interchangeable players in the final third, beware!!!

Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by dayokanu(m): 4:20pm On Aug 28, 2011
Man City 4 Swansea 0

Man City 47% possesion Swansea 53%

Bolton 2 Man City 3

Bolton 44% Man City 56% (Note that Bolton and Stoke are the EPL teams who hates possesion most I mean rarely posses the ball and depends on high balls)

I am waiting for the Tottenham own and would post it soon

Mata who was signed 3 days ago has equal amount of goals as Torres

To those insultind Dzeko
if you watch the last 2 matches 4-0 and 4-3 he did a good performance not only by scoring, but by assisting, and makeing an overral good performance
we shall see nxt match

By the end of the 1st half against Norwich, Torres had gone 176 minutes without a shot on target.
In came Mata towards the end of the game and Torres had a header on target, his first in close to 200 minutes of play.
This only buttresses my point that Torres has been getting poor supplies.
Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by dayokanu(m): 9:09am On Aug 29, 2011
In Spain too he gets bad supplies?

What happened when he gets a good pass and fluffs it ot a defender outsmarts him, It would still register like he didnt get a shot at goal

You should be ashamed of your guy, All excuse has been exhausted on him alone

city reveal plans for multimillion-pound training complex

Manchester City unveiled plans today for a state-of-the-art new training complex that the club are confident will be unrivalled anywhere in the world.
Planning application for the 80-acre site next to the Etihad Stadium was submitted this morning with the club hoping to get the go-ahead to begin construction of the development by the end of the year.

The complex next to their stadium in east Manchester will take years to be completed and will contain a 7,000-seat mini-stadium, 15 full-size pitches and sleeping accommodation for 72 senior and youth players.
Brian Marwood, the club’s chief football operations officer, said: “This could be the most important investment the club has ever made under its new ownership.

“This is part of a ten-year strategy for long-term sustainable success. Phase one culminated in the club winning the FA Cup and qualifying for the Champions League last season. This signals the beginning of the next phase.
“We know that youth development has to be at the heart of this club. Investment in the transfer market has helped us reach a certain level, to stay there will take investment in player development, welfare and top-class facilities.
“While new signings were making the headlines there were changes behind the scenes even in the early days.”

The development has been planned for three years, during which City sent officials to Arsenal, Barcelona and Ajax, as well as bodies from outside of football including the New York Giants, LA Lakers, New York Knicks and the Australian Institute of Sport to look at their operations.
Nick Smith, the project consultant who made most of the visits to other facilities, said: “We believe ours will become the world’s best training facility.”
Marwood said an overall cost of the development had yet to be clarified. City have already bought most of the land, much of which is polluted by past industries, and are in the process of cleaning it.

The club have also promised to provide 5.5 acres for community use, including a sixth form college, and contribute towards a new public swimming pool. Patrick Vieira, the French former Arsenal, AC Milan and Inter Milan midfielder who is now City’s football development executive, described the plans as “unbelievable”. He said: “For any player to have this facility would be really, really exciting.”

so much for platini's financial fair play.
in the next 10 yrs, city would be monstrous.
Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by ritchboy(m): 7:09pm On Sep 20, 2011
^^ They are already monstrous. . . If anything they'll be weaker in 10 years if FFP is somehow fully implemented. I'm not holding my breath.

Another brilliant play by City to circumvent the FFP rule.
Under the FFP rule, money spent on academy don't count as a loss.

So na wetin dem wan take the land do be that? the whole place was boarded up when last I passed it.
This is smack dab within the FFP rules, no one will complain about this. This is what Chelsea should have done when they were winning.
City will be a thorn in Manure's flesh for a very long time, I've always wanted a worthwhile derby for them in Manchester like we have with Chelsea and Tottenham.
