I just want Buhari to roll in tanks and other heavy military equipments into that swamp, or our already decapitated foot soldier to their suicide mission. Over 100 soldiers died few months ago, but Buhari and his goons covered it under the rug. 5 Likes |

What's wrong with the british government sef? People that refer to us us fantastic corrupt, well it's the truth thou* That's how they said government shouldn't go all gun trotting and battles into the N.E, until it got out of hand, every country has his or her own sovereignty, and there's does not extend to nigeria* We cannot continue to tolerate all this rubbish, where were they? When a country could not conduct election in a local government area because of these same militants? how many helpless people have been kidnapped? How many military and police officers, because some nonieties are holding light arms, have been killed? Funniest thing is they were sold to them by the same European countries? 2 Likes |

Buhari does not understand this country. Go to the Niger Delta and you will realize that the militants are not ghosts. Everyone knows them, even police men. It is very difficult to catch militants unawares in the creeks because everyone will see Naval patrol boats and alert the militants who will then blend into the community like regular citizens. We are ill equipped to fight them. Most of them move around without navigation gadgets while our navy personnel plot charts, GPS cordinates etc. Some of them can't even swim! Just get some of them, settle them and turn them against the others. Shikena. GEJ made sure Tompolo and Dokubo were well fed and those 2 in turn kept the boys in check. That's common sense. It will not cost up to 200 barrels value per day to keep everyone happy. 5 Likes |

TippyTop:the UK is only concerned about their investment in the oil industry. The FG has no business with any militant group. The only party that the president needs to dialogue with are Niger Delta people. No one is going to give another round of amnesty to anyone in the name of the struggle. What gain has the last amnesty brought? More militancy, more pipeline destruction, more denial, more woes to the economy. A review of the derivation formula which will directly favour the host community, quick passage of the the PIB bill and the restructuring of investment portfolio of OMLs is the least buhari can give. "No more amnesty scam". We want sincere development in the creeks. |

Funny! Same man who spoke against military action against bokoharam terrorists in the North that killed thousands is very quick to send the Military to the South to attack people who haven't killed a goat sef. Except he plans to annihilate the whole south south, bombing of pipelines will not stop. Dialogue will be better than Military action because when you cut one head, seven others will grow. Carrot approach will work better here. Unlike Boko haram, these people have clear demands. Meet them halfway at least but instead they think gra gra will solve it. Ask OBJ how that worked out for him. Anyway, we all know that gra gra is Boooharis way. Rubbish! #BoooohariisaDullardforlife 2 Likes |

Using military as the only way to minimize the situation isn't the best option, it will rather jeopardize his government and worsened the incidents. Dialogue is the best thing to do in issues like this not involving the military. This is democracy not a military. |

Firefire: You just continue to rant profusely over nothing. Back up your claims of the oil block percentages with documents or keep silent. What will you benefit by destroying your own assets.? How daft can one be.? Moreover, does Buhari own an oil block? even as former petroleum minister and Head of state? Did he allocate any oil blocks to his kinsmen?. What exactly is your problem? Why are wailers so predictably irrational? |

"Buhari has got to show as a president from the north that he is not ignoring the Delta, that he is engaging with the challenges in the Delta,” Hammond said. Buhari is a Muslim from the north who has not visited the Christian Delta since taking office a year ago, something highlighted by a militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers, The more Buhari uses military dictatorship on these people the worse the matter. Dialogue should be applied. |

He may not own oil blocks but he can take the oil blocks away from the people who have been ripping the real owners off for donkey years. As a matter of fact oil blocks should be shared amomg the oil producing states in lieu of the 13% derivative. Nellybii: |

It's clear to see that with every regime there would be an attempt by various groups to hold it ransom. This is where a President must put his foot down! OBJ started it and GEJ expanded it but PMB must end it. For those who sympathize with the Avengers, I say to them, why don't you sympathize with Boko Haram? Boko Haram kills humans, Avengers blow up pipelines, this results in more poverty for the masses which then leads to starvation and deaths. Both are terrorists and should be treated the same way! Niger-Deltans had the best chance to make their lives better when GEJ was in charge but they trusted their fate to greedy leaders from their own region, they have no one to blame but themselves!!! |
