The supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) organised prayers in a house of former Kano state governor Ibrahim Shekarau, asking Allah to destroy the government of President Buhari
The photos were shared on Facebook by Maigari Sani Auwal.
He wrote: “Shekarau was reportedly arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged fraud. “This is a congregation prayer in Shekaraus house seeking for God to destroy the government of Buhari for his lack of good governance. “People praying for God to deliver them from the hardship and difficulties that Buhari has put us through in this nation.” Shekarau was arrested by EFCC on May 12, Thursday, over alleged sharing of N950 million campaign funds in his house at Mundubawa in Kano metropolis.
He was alleged to have gathered N25 million as his own share of the money and consequently quizzed by the Commission for interrogation.
