We should decline and ask them to return our stolen billions instead.

Notice how they always offering help we don't need or request.

What we need them to help with, such as fighting Boko haram or assisting fins Chibok girls, they never help.
your right dear, But remember if it doesn't concern them you are on your own, all they are doing is for you to hold your people not to bring drugs to USA for there people to consume, the world followed Ebola bumper to bumper because it will reach to them fast

The busy body US is doing to Nigeria in the name of this and that in recent times is just to close the mouth of Naija for them to continue enjoying our looted funds they are holding.

Does it mean we shouldn't accept their help if it doesn't relate to terrorism?

U.S. Donates Eleven Vehicles to NDLEA, Boosts Nigeria’s Counter-Narcotic Efforts

Lagos– As part of continuing support from the United States to the government and people of Nigeria today, the U.S. donated eleven pick-up trucks and transport vans to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The vehicles are the latest U.S. donation to the NDLEA to assist counter-narcotics efforts.
“The United States will continue to support the NDLEA and the country of Nigeria to combat the proliferation of drug trafficking and drug abuse. This is a responsibility we share as democratic nations,” said U.S. Consul General Francis John Bray, who handed over the vehicles to the NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah in Lagos.
Since the establishment of the NDLEA in 1990, the U.S. Mission to Nigeria has partnered with the NDLEA and has increased U.S. bilateral assistance for combatting narcotics trafficking in Nigeria.
In the past four years, the United States has provided more than US$10 million in training and equipment to the NDLEA.
The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, in partnership with the U.S. Africa Command (U.S. AFRICOM) and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, has sponsored over 100 training courses since 2013 for the NDLEA, and trained 1,580 students. The agency has received training in intelligence, evidence collection, management skills, tactical skills, and instructor training.
In taking possession of the pick-up trucks and transport vans, the NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah expressed optimism that the vehicles will help the anti-narcotics agency in its fight against drug trafficking.
“It is on account of the mentorship and support that we get from the U.S. that we have been able to record some of our successes,” said NDLEA Chairman Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah.

actually, USA is among the top oil producers in the world and so the picture you posted is incorrect in terms of facts. USA definitely made mistakes in getting involved in internal affairs of Iraq and Libya but sorry oil is not the reason.

So what's the reason?

Hilux makes sense as it is commonly used in Nigeria and so there will be availability of spares, easier maintenance etc. Besides the Hilux is one of the most dependable trucks in its class.
Toyota has a big presence in the US and employs thousands of Americans.
US would always back and promote its own brand.... if they needed to donate reliable pick up trucks... they would choose Ford F150 because that is their #1.

Which billions did USA steal??
Chibok girls?? Half of Nigerians do not even believe that the Chibok girls saga is real. Didn't the GEJ government including mama peace also deny the Chibok incident?

Like forever the Ford F series been #1.... and do you really think the US considers what spares are available? They always... always push their own product..... not a matter of Made in the US.... but owned by a US company regardless of where it is made. At the end of the day...Toyota is still Japanese.

Do you think that the US government owns Ford??
Ford is privately owned just like Toyota.

Do you know how many Ford vehicles are built in Mexico (and shipped back to the US)?: Escape and Fiesta.

Do you know that the Toyota builds their North American truck models (Tundra and Tacoma) in the state of Texas??

So yes, the US will donate 11 Toyota Hiluxs to the NDLEA because frankly 11 vehicles is chicken change to the American government.
