I am using the same forum to offer political and economic palliatives and some analgesics that help the former eastern region to stave off the imminent threat of another civil war staring us in the face and ease the pain of electoral loss and move on with their lives.

1. The recent gang up game between the south west and the north is very good for the economy and only if the East can manage to hold on patiently with the responsibility of checking that their indigenes remain resolutely calm and patient even under provocation and channel their resources towards building the east

2. The lagos and Abuja igbos who own landed property in lagos and Abuja should massively start divesting by selling of their buildings and lands in the 2 cities, this is a very big gamble but has 99% success rate as has been used by developed countries against southern African countries of Zimbabwe, the proceeds from the sales can be reinvested in a new eastern commercial capital which will host eastern economy and businesses.

3. The building of a financial centre in the east , A financial centre is a location that is home to a cluster of nationally or internationally significant financial services providers such as banks, investment managers or stock exchanges. A prominent financial centre can be described as an international financial centre or a global financial centre and is often also a global city. An offshore financial centre is typically a smaller, low-tax jurisdiction that primarily serves non-residents. This will be achieved with the support of the banks owned by the south east and south south.

4 . The building of a commercial capital in the east, the commercial capital can be an extensive collaboration between Abia State, Anambra state, rivers state and can be cited at the boundaries between the rivers and Abia State, this can extend towards Akwa-Ibom state to the east and imo to the west, this would encourage wailers to relocate their 2 by 2 businesses, 4 by 4 businesses in oshodi, Alaba International Market and Ladipo to the East and put a stop to the present economic terrorism going on against people of eastern origin in lagos through arson, burning down of businesses and offices ,harassment of businesses by omonile, government agents, deportation of Easterners etc

5. The building of a world class university in the east , the essence of a world class university can not be over emphasised, the University of Nigeria Nsukka would have filled this gap but the federal yoke would not have it. The east can come together with the organisation of the private sector upgrade 3 of their state universities to be among the best in African standards and produce the manpower in management, engineering and technology and IT that would drive the eastern economy.

6. The attraction of human capital of eastern origin back to the East , the banks, financial institutions and state governments can work together to create joint venture capital, venture capital financial capacity that can fund raise business ideas and projects from Easterners that would be established in the east to boost the eastern economy .

7. The building of eastern infrastructure and international gateway ,this would include upgrading of one of the international Airports in the east, the patronage of the airports and an airline, the construction of a deep sea port by all or any of the Niger delta states. The sea port can be built in conjunction with all the eastern states which each state owning shares in respect to the contribution, the sea port is the secret behind the success of Dubai. The location can be chosen to be Opobo city and ikot Abasi which will solve the quest for Akwa-Ibom ,Rivers and Abia State to have access to the sea, this can sever links with lagos ports which the north and the South West can monopolise.

8. The building of a tech capital in the east ,similar to the tech capital in california, silicon valley and the tech capital in China ,shenzen will stave off the economic terrorism been perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen with tacit support of some biased federal government officials in the forces, a tech capital would engage the eastern manpower cut down on Imported goods and resist the economic downturn precipitated by the lack of economic know how of the present Apc regime.

9. The gradual relocation of Easterners to the East from lagos and Abuja to the new eastern commercial capital which will be hosted in the east. This will eliminate the present face off between igbos and yorubas in lagos over market taxes, ,Market leadership and management in Ladipo, Alaba, oshodi, the reduction of political tensions during elections which made the oba of lagos vowing to drown igbos in the lagoon something a motor park tout could have been arrested for and a similar statement that made buhari arrest Nnamdi Kanu.

10. Add yours. And make it brief and straight to point.
