It is with a heavy heart I pen this piece, not with the intention to embark on a blithe smear campaign or spread unfounded rumours, but to tackle an issue that has been overlooked and under addressed…

Nigerian news is agog this week with Sanusi’s bombshell sacking of five banking giants, Erastus Akingbola, the erstwhile CEO of Intercontinental Bank, inclusive. With a purported ‘lending’ of N250 billion to his associates flying in the face of professional ethos and ethics, allegations of siphoning significant amounts into personal coffers, gross mismanagement of loans, “poor corporate governance practices, lax administration processes and the absence or non-adherence to the banks' credit risk management practices”, it is certainly not the best of times for the smiling banker cum Redeemed Pastor. Just last week he was spotted with Cecilia Ibru at the Redeemed Camp, spouting tongues and binding enemies in specially provided front row seats - his petitions evidently not swaying the stony heart of Sanusi who sacked him days later. His mathematician mentor, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has also not enjoyed the best of press lately, questions raised to whether politics as opposed to principle led to Pastor Ighodalo’s forced dismissal, this coming on the heels of the ‘private jet’ debacle.

With another prominent name added, the list of Redeemed Pastors embroiled in scandal or ungodly controversy of varying sorts continues to unfold in alarming fashion. In the banking sector alone, Akingbola joins the likes of Shola Adeoti of City Express and Chika Mbonu of Assurance Bank, such high profile incidents continuing to cast aspersions over the process through which one joins the Redeemed pastors’ fold. The question I pose - was it Akingbola’s pocket or his person that endeared him to Daddy G.O? What are the criteria for those desirous to come under the banner of ‘Redeemed Pastor’ – charisma or character, politics or principles?

I read aghast the figure of 8 379 new pastors/ elders ordained at the recent RCCG Camp, as though the pulpit be a position one can occupy like a farmer or trader. Can Adeboye personally attest to the integrity of all those appointees? How sure is he that another dubious or devious character is not among the new recruits? Is pastoral work something anyone can wake up and decide to pursue without divine assigning and commission?

Handsome physique, eloquence of tongue, the ability to inspire people with cumbersome rhetoric or coerce cash from large crowds are certainly not the criteria for God’s work. What of divine calling? What of internal resources? What of godly character? Have we forgotten what the Almighty said to Prophet Samuel: “Man looks at outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart…”?

For Daddy GOat the criteria for becoming a pastor is to have dough, thats why RCCG doesn't care for the poor in nigeria but prefers to use the offerings and tithes of the poor to purchase private jets, build expensive schools they can't afford as well as living larvishly while frolicking with corrupt politicians like OBJ.

Alloy Emeka I do thank you for posting that picture of Eunuch Adejale Adenbole congratulating former governor James " The Hippo"  Ibori for looting the entire state treasury before being booted out of office, but more importantly for committing that epic crime with absolute impunity, in true Nigerian form.

That picture clearly illustrates where the bulk of Pastor Eunuch's stolen loot originates, and where the loyalties of that thieving man of dog really lie.

I think Intercontinental Bank should be properly investigated to be sure that it is not the offerings and tithes of members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God that is used to finance that bank only to hand over the profits to Ibori and Lucky in the form of loans. The ties of Eunoch, Onanefe, Akingbola, Cecilia and Lucky are beginning to look more and more binding.

Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo, Lazarus Muoka and the rest of these idiots constitute the biggest stumbling block to Nigeria's economic growth. These manipulators are the new FIRS. They tax their members in the name of religion and corrupt the masses with a "Christian" brand of misanthropism.


They will all rot in hell.


Last week, NEXT reported that a dead man was left to die in front of Moloney Police Station. They forgot to add that there was a big Redeemed Parish nearby full of people sing and dancing like possessed dervishes.

They forgot to add that the Police Station also has a Christian fellowship.

They forgot to add that several "born-again" Christians walked past the dying man without batting an eyelid.

The truth of the matter is that RCCG needs a total overhaul by calling all its elders for a retreat in order for them to retrace their steps so as to know where they were coming from in other to determine how far they have taken the WRONG STEPS,,,,truth be told so so many things are wrong the way the church operates,,,,,
 When a church continues to be involved in one scandal or the other almost every week,,,then the church needs a check up,,,My own grosse is that why do people THINK Pastor Adeboye can't make a mistake( He's nothing but human like U and I),,,,RCCG= RELIGION !!!

Religion in Nigeria is just a lot of noise making. Early in the morning, they'll start screaming disturbing one's sleep as if God will not hear them unless they shout! I wonder who told all those screamers that God is deaf!

What good are all the churches and mosques doing in Nigeria?

In the mosques, they preach primitive hatred and instigate bands of marauding murderers to kill infidels.

In the churches, the CEOs pastors pally with corrupt politicians to increase the revenue tithes/offerings of their companies churches.

What social good can we point to as a benefit to all these religious centers.

Apart from the few older churches, like the Baptists, Methodists and Catholics, who have built schools and hospitals, what else?

All these new-generation banks churches are around to make money. They have no interest whatsoever in making society more civil.
