As May29 approaches, Nigerians and the world see you standing among them all courageous, strong, proud and tall.

We want you to know, your never alone
For we are waiting, for you to come back home But the hardest thing for a person to be is a soldier fighting To keep us free from terrorism.

Indeed an exemplary leadership of President Muhammad Buhari (G.C.F.R) leads to the defeat of Boko Haram in less than one year in office. It should be recall President Buhari is also the one who defeat Metatsine in 1980s (A terrorist group with similar ideology like Boko Haram). The same soldiers who failed in defeating Boko Haram are now heros when it comes to converting insurgency. This is due to the anti-corruption stand of the president, which was formally a big problem in the Nigerian Army.

LT. Tukur Yusuf Burutai: The history of the Nigerian army can never be complete without the current COAS. A man who lead on the war front.

Air Marshall Abubakar Saddiq: Nigerian Chief of Air Staff. Successful Aerial bombardment of terrorist strong hold and operation crack down were as the result of his selfless service to the Nation.

Peace loving Nigerians will only support all our men and women in the armed forces of the Federation of Nigeria who has put it all on the line to protect, defend and keep us safe and free from insurgency

WE SALUTE YOU.

Those that don't know May God not allow them Know.

The security situation in the north got so bad even as far down as kaduna we slept with our eyes open, after hearing news of how the insurgents over ran towns like bama, mubi etc. It was only a matter of time before they got to the northwest. In fact we had to instruct our families to be perpetually moving around with abulution (Islamic ritual purification) in market and public places in case they are caught up in a suicide attack.

Hence my initial prayer above.
