Niger Delta Avengers' Letter To Tompolo by AceRoyal: 10:17pm On May 30, 2016
Our dear brother Tompolo, how is your friendship with the Nigerian Government. The people you took side with against us (the Niger Delta Avengers). We offered you the olive branch by beckoning you to join us in this struggle, but you refused

It is not our business what goes on in Gbaramatu Kingdom but our concern is the innocent children, women and aged people whom the Nigerian military has chased away from their homes now taking refuge in the forest. We warned you before hand that the Nigerian Government, can never be trusted.

To the Nigeria military, why are you looking for soft targets? If you are looking for the Avengers you know how to find us. Don’t deceive your President. Information gathered by the Intelligence unit of the Niger Delta Avengers revealed that Oil Marine Services (OMS) whose Chairman and CEO is Capt. Okunbor Idahosa also known, as Capt. Hosa is the company Nigerian Government awarded the Pipeline surveillance contract to spanning from Escravos to Lokoja. The said Capt. Hosa bribed the Brigade Commander Benin (Brig. Gen. Faruk Yahaya) alongside the Officer Commanding Army Gunboat, JTF (Major. M. B. Yahaya) with the sum of two hundred and fifty million naira (250,000,000) in collaboration with one Ayiri Emami to destroy Gbaramatu Kingdom in the guise of looking for the Niger Delta Avengers.

The question is, why the innocent people of Gbaramatu, why the innocent pregnant women, why unleash terror on the aged people of Gbaramatu, Capt. Hosa, Major Yahaya, Ayiri and Brid. Gen Faruk must you waste all these innocent blood just to secure the pipeline surveillance job? Why making the innocent people of Gbaramatu suffer? This act of the Nigerian Army to us is the greatest act of cowardice. This fight we believe is against the Avengers and not the innocent villagers of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Where is the International Community and the United Nations when all these unspeakable injustice, is served the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom by the very unprofessional Nigerian Military? Are they not aware of the raping of young girls, looting and destruction of properties by the Nigeria military in Gbaranmatu kingdom?

As for you Tompolo, what do you have to say about the horrible treatment meted your people by Nigerian Military, are you still going to call the Niger Delta Avengers criminals, are you still going to take side with the Nigeria Government against your people? What happened to you (Tompolo)? We respect the love you have for your people the Niger Delta. What is really happening to you when the likes of Mr Ayiri, Capt Hosa and Co are unleashing this kind of atrocities on your people, has the wealth you acquire made you soft that you don’t know what to do anymore?

The Nigerian Military cannot intimidate us by harassing innocent Niger Deltans. Gbaramatu is just one kingdom in Delta State. The Niger Delta is made up of seven States, it is therefore very funny to lure us to halt our well-planned line of actions that will shock the whole world by harassing innocent villagers.

To you Capt. Hosa the new pipeline protector; the intelligence unit of the Avengers has your full data, we know where all your assets are located and that most of your businesses are in the Niger Delta. For this single act of injustice against the innocent people of Gbaramatu you, your wife and entire family will suffer.

To Major M.B. Yahaya, we are sure you have not seen real combat before; how did you rose to the rank of a Major this is to show that Nigerian Military is finished if it to depend on people like you. You are only good at harassing innocent women and children in the name of looking for the Niger Delta Avengers. We are not surprised because all Nigerian Military are corrupt. Be assured that we are making this fight personal with you as we shall make your life a living hell. Can anyone tell the difference between Major MB Yahaya, Brig. Gen Faruk Yahaya and Boko Haram? We are asking because we cannot spot any difference.

Is the Nigeria military now a hired gun for the rich? The Amnesty International should take note of these officers who authorized the harassing of the innocent people of Gbaranmatu.

To the International Oil Companies and Indigenous Oil Companies, it’s going to be bloody this time around. Your facilities and personnel will bear the brunt of our fury, which shall fall upon you like a whirling wind.

Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo
Spokesperon.

This is revealing to the discerning mind
1- Tompolo is behind this attack
2- the real issue is pipeline surveillance that was taken from him
3- the avengers have been shaken by the NA and Tompolo wants a soft landing, portering him as friend of the FG
4- Tompol may soon surface saying it is because he cared for his people or when caught will deny any link with the avengers
5-congrats to Capt. Okunbor Idahosa,Brigade Commander Benin (Brig. Gen. Faruk Yahaya),
Mr Ayiri. These men mentioned have refused to be bribed hence the intimidation and blackmail. But among these men they know where Tompolo is.
Bravo Nigerian Military great Job
Bravo PMB
Bravo Nigeria
They tried our resolve. It remains Nigeria.

okokobioko! shocked

Said it on the earlier thread that hope the guys displayed with ammo won't turn out to be another case of 'chevron community workers' tagged NDA by the NA.

To apprehend these NDA guys would need stealth and intelligence gathering and not braggadocio.

The title should be ranting of ND Scavengers.

You can justify your act of terrorism against sovereign state and you are questioning the reaction of the same State you are terrorizing, and economically saotaging to your stup1d acts.

For every action , there is always a reaction which is equal and opposite. Re-cap your Newton's 3rd Law of Motion.

If the Niger Delta Scavengers have personal vendetta with Ayiri or Ijaws have vendettas with Itshekiris, they should tell the world. All this tom and jerry games you are playing with each other is for the small boys.

You are calling on international community after sabotaging their economy too by bombing Agip - an Italian Coy, Chevron - An American Coy, Mobil -another American Coy. Who are the int'l community you are shouting to. I guess you must be referring to Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and probably South Sudan.

What is wonderful about them? What kind of useless comment is this?

Soft target! I think the military is kind. They should ignore the idiots and go after their family. That's how soft the military should act.

This is nothing but pure grievance and like someone has previously said, I think Tomopolo has a hand in this directly or indirectly.

There is also the possibility that the contract termination by this administration triggered this issue.

Please can Nigerians ignore all sentiments and label this avengers as enemies of the state. The government must not dialogue with them and I think the amnesty was a clear mistake from day one. Criminality must be eradicated and not rewarded.

The heat is on. The letter seems like the rants of a querulous she-man. You can tell that the visits to Gbaramatu by the NA pain them no be small.

I won't be surprised if Tompolo is the one playing all these mind games, writing letters to himself and responding in kind.

They are jokers. Hiding in bushes and creeks to spill nonsense. The same jokes Boko Haram ranted about and when the military was ready they ran to sambisa and now crying for negotiation.

You cannot fight a government and win. Why are they ranting to international community and tagging CNN. All what Buhari needs is to label them criminals.

Just as the avengers have boasted about procuring sophisticated weapons, we might just be glad to support the government to borrow money and buy more sophisticated weapons.

If they are really serious about engaging the military, they should leave pipelines alone and release the first shot.

I know some of them come to nairaland to read comments. We are not sympathetic to your case. Avengers are criminals not freedom fighters. Leave pipelines alone and fight like men if you are brave.

The scAvengers are pained by the NA visit to Gbaramatu, and are clearly disillusioned as evidenced by their panicky rants.

This is just the beginning. Silly cowardly terrorists, hiding under their girlfriends beds and issuing petty threats.

Now their target is no longer pipelines but a Contractor's innocent wife grin. Boko Haram will just skin these ones alive for being such a disgrace to terrorists worldwide.

Your egregious acts will only exacerbate the sufferings of the people.
It is becoming clearer the underlying cause of this renewed violence. It seems the pipeline security deal lies at the centre of it all.
There is a need for adequate intelligence and possibly an infiltration of the group by officers of the intelligence corps of the Army. It will help give a true picture of the weapon strength, fighters strength and financial strength of the group.
This is a crisis that requires a two pronged approach--the carrot and the stick.
The government should not only hand out the stick but also dangle the carrot before them.
