God prohibited eating of blood right from Noah's time immediately HE permitted people to eat meat. Gen 9:4 God included this in the Mosaic laws Levit 17:11 and after Christianity has come to replace the Jewish religious system God's Holy Spirit directed the Apostles to continue abstaining from blood Act 15:29. Today there are so many illnesses that scientists can't explain it's sources, but one thing medical doctors will avoid is blood transfusion. No medical doctor will opt for it though they'll use you for their experiments and discoveries but NEVER will they allow you to transfuse someone's blood in their system.
