There is no doubt the bond between two lovers gets stronger by the day when the love is true and pure. The loss of a life partner no doubt can be very devastating. It takes a lot of strenght to survive the loss of a loved one. While divorce and broken marriages are rampant these days it is important we take sometime to respect and appreciate the successful marriages and give credits to the men and women with happy homes and lovely children they created together as one family. Love and family should never be under-estimated at any point. We should always learn to appreciate and respect our loved ones and show them unconditional love in return. Stephen Keshi has been married to his wife for over 35years. He was 19years old and she was 18. In an interview the late Stephen Keshi said he married at the early age of 21 to ward-off girls! With that level of success in football at an early age of 20, how many men in this generation will stick to their childhood sweetheart and keep their promises? While we mourn the loss of Stephen Keshi and remember his for his impact in Nigerian football, we should also give credits, love, respect and appreciation and also learn from his life. That on wedding days when they say "till death do us apart" it actually should be till death do the couples apart. May God guide and be with all families going through troubled marriages right now and May almighty God be with the families of Stephen Keshi as they go through this trying period.
