I can relate but I don't think 'assumption' explains it well. I believe it is mostly foresight as a result of being very very observant.

Although, when it has to do with human behaviour, I tend to give benefit of doubt for fear of judging wrongly especially when there's no concrete evidence.

Lol... Wow! I see... Introverts are fun to be with when you understand their temperamental make-up and get closer to them... They may not be out-going and really sociable per se, but I can say that they're very intelligent species, more intelligent than people think they are due to their gentle nature!

Being predominantly extroverted myself, I have introverted friends though and I can confidently say introverts are nice, gentle and understanding if you know how to get along well with them!

Introverts quiet? You definitely mistake the introvert personality for something else. If you wish to know a little about introversion, Google "Quiet by Susan Cain YouTube".

Why life could be harder for introverts
1. Introversion is usually interpreted by others as lack of confidence. And this alone means a lot. It will affect ur career, relationships, name it.

2. Introverts are easily depressed. Usually because they are often misinterpreted, some times ignored by others (it seems as if they don't exist where they are). Coupled with the fact that they usually don't have someone to share their experiences with, they get depressed easily.

3. Speaking of getting a spouse. It's difficult because in the first place introverts hardly want to go to public places so who will notice them well enough to fall in love with them or ask them out. And when they finally go out, the opposite sex will gravitate towards the extroverts and again it seems they don't exist (not all the time though)

4. Introverts will hardly realize their full potentials because they often don't want to take risks, meet new people or do new things. This would not put them in a position where they are forced to bring out those hidden skills or abilities that they have laying fallow in them. Therefore, they may not discover their gifts and abilities soon enough.

I think it comes down to how you manage it.

Speaking of achievements, i don't think it's in all cases introverts underachieve.
I mean we all know notable introverts now, like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and the greatest of the greats(in music) Michael Jackson
I read an anecdote that he was so shy in person but he would literally light up on stage.
I propose that maybe one of the reasons some introverts don't follow their passions is because they haven't really found what they are passionate about yet. This is common to everybody, whether introvert or extrovert.
When you find something that lights you up,makes you come alive, only YOU can stop yourself from achieving it.
About depression, it's true. At least for me. We are in our heads so much we start to imagine things that are often negative.

I think it comes down to how you manage it.

Yeah. I don't like making people feel they are so terrible and there's no hope for them. Yes everyone has his faults/weakness and yes we can improve on those faults or find a way to compensate for them.
For instance, I was a person who didn't use to feel comfortable about going out and meeting new people but I had to force myself repeatedly till i got used to it.
Though I'm not the hilarious type but I'm not scared or shy to express myself (I'm lucky enough to say funny things once in a while)
Moreover, I still enjoy being alone sometimes and that's how I get to refresh myself.
