While listening to review of daily newspapers on Adaba 88.9 FM, I heard that the governors of the Niger Delta are demanding that corruption cases against the governors of the region must be dropped if the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) are to drop their weapons. This demand was tabled before the Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo at the state house yesterday! It was reported that Olusegun Mimiko made the request on behalf of other governors With this kind of demand from these governors, can we say they are the sponsors of the NDA? Can we say major politicians in the region are the one behind all these attacks? It is time we removed immunity clause for political office holders from our constitution! What is your take on this? |
