GOV. OBIANO ISSUES OUT #20 MILLION NAIRA TO EACH COMMUNITY.

Today, the Community Stakeholders in Awka North LGA of Anambra State held an interactive session as summoned by the Local Government Council Chairman Hon. Chief Cosmos Okonkwo. This was as a result of the decision of our amiable working Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano AKPOKUEGLOBAL to disburse the sum of Twenty Million Naira (#20,000,000) to each of the 177 Communities of Anambra State of which the 10 Communities of Awka North will be part of it.

Chief Cosmos in his remarks informed the Stakeholders that the Governor has decided to take developments to the rural areas, thus requesting that the projects should be Community Driven Demands. He further said that the Community Projects will be implemented and executed by the Community but will be properly monitored by Government for effective implementations.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to Governor on Security Matters Chief Sir Chikodi Anarah IGBAKIGBA in his brief remarks requested that the various Community Stakeholders should as a matter of urgency call for Stakeholders meeting in their town as so to identify and quantify the needs of their town and place them according to priority.

Commending the kind gesture of the Governor, the President General of Amansea Chief Ozo Okonkwo applauded this new initiative of the Governor by developing the rural areas. He moreover assured the Governor or prudent use of the funds when released as his community shall set-up a Monitoring and Evaluation Team in this regards.

Ikechukwu Oforkansi Deputy Council Chairman, All Councilors, Town Unions President General, amongst others.

This is why we need to continue to support the APGA led Government of Anambra State under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Willie Obiano, The National Leader and Chairman BoT of APGA. This is why we need to vote APGA in the coming Senate Election for Anambra Central so as to send Chief Sir Victor Umeh OFR OHAMADIKE to the SENATE for onward collaboration and complementation of the efforts of our working Governor.

The dishing out of #20,000,000.00 to each of the 177 Towns of Anambra State is a welcome development and will thus bring fort development to the grassroots.

When others are struggling for survival,my state through prudent has more than enough to dish out.
Moreso i trust communities in Anambra state,as usual there will be intense competition on which town will come out with the best project....some towns will even generate more money and add to it.
