President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back to Nigeria at 5pm GMT (6pm local time) on Sunday, June 19.
The presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, confirmed the development:

President Muhammadu Buhari is on his way back to Nigeria after a 10-day vacation and a weekend in London, the United Kingdom.

The president departed Abuja for the British capital, London, on June 6.
Initially the trip was planned as a 10-day vacation. The medical check-up with an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist was scheduled for the president. However, the duration of Buhari’s stay was unexpectedly prolonged.

The president was examined and treated by his personal physician and an ENT specialist in Abuja, but both doctors recommended further check-up abroad ‘purely as a precaution’.

The Nigerian leader had a number of meetings and discussions while on holiday. Buhari met the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu, the prominent Yoruba monarch Oba Sikiru Adetonaand the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

President Buhari resumes work on Monday, June 20.
