Upload picture is not necessary. Even I don't do it much. I can use 1 picture in 1 year. Afterall I'm not looking for a girlfriend or wife. |

Unless you are fraudulent and dubious. Many business are done and conclude on social media this days. In short everything is on social media, people would want to at least see a picture of who there are dealing with, (which can be misleading or fake) it not just to find wife or girlfriend dont leave in the past bro. |

Prechy08: And does picture mean the business is legit? And is everybody doing business online? Take Nairaland for example, are you doing business here? Do you have picture on your profile? If so, why? Also I have been doing business online for the past 5 years and for once I have never uploaded my photo. Photo does not mean successful business. The photo can be a fake. So that's not a point. It's even the ones with photo that are Scammers. If anyone is interested in doing real business, he would request an office address or phone number not some profile pic 1 Like |

Adding your real picture is important especially on social media website like fb. Let me share an experience. Around mid 2014 i created a fb account for fun, joined different groups and stayed active on them. Later got a friend request from a 49yr american lady - yea doing fine, beautiful and she's a nurse, said she loved my replies on a so...so particular group. Didn't lie about my age but faked my pics. Of course older than me. Along the line we got very close ...kinda start dating...lol. told me everything about her life...bla bla. But the fake pictures i used ruin my chances with her because she later said she doesn't discriminate. Probably could date an African. Eventually i let her go by giving her some useless excuse. |
