Culture is the totality of a people's way of life . Someone's culture is his identity and when a particular group of people have displayed the natural inclination or tendency to kill , terrorize and show hate towards the religious over the century , then its rational to conclude that its their way of life - their culture . Like I mentioned earlier , the proliferation of the members of the atheist communities on social media that display these tendencies is alarming - this affirms the above paragraph .

Her argument, I think, is something like this. It goes as follows: Since it has already been established that christians past and present have been murderous villains, she hopes to ameliorate the sheer disgrace and shame of her history by pointing the finger to others. It's just an attempt to deflect attention from her filth. If you notice there has been a sudden increase of threads attacking atheism. While I will agree that atheists have become quite militant and organised against religion, the roots of it have not been investigated thoroughly. This is my opinion on what is going on, historically.

There have always been atheists who just ignore religion and go about their lives jejely. This is still the case with the majority of atheists, some of them you'll be shocked when you even find out that they are atheists. Some still attend church because they love the liturgy and the music but they don't believe.

Then sometime in the early years of this millennium ( or maybe even in the 90s) Science was making some astonishing breakthroughs with Stem Cell research. They even created a lamb called Dolly. The backlash from religion was extreme, to put it mildly. I remember listening to some people chatting about it and someone said that the lamb would be possessed by demons and that's how it is animated. The level of contempt shocked me.

It was shortly after this that people like Dawkins started to rise with their anti religion rhetoric. Many people say, and I agree, that Religion VS Science is a false dichotomy however from the way things have been playing out in the last 20 years it doesn't feel like that. It feels like Religion has taken it upon itself to be antagonistic towards scientific progress. (actually come to think of it they have been like this for centuries).

The attack back at religion from scientists wearing masks of atheism has shaken many religious people to their core, especially with the use of internet and social media. Off line christians can influence legislation and force the government to withdraw funding from Stem Cell research. But online christians have to flee into and under every crevice and rock that they can find.
