FOLYKAZE:

The Ministry did not owe everyone on their payroll salary or wages. The Minister made it clear that they are only owed June salary which is not yet due.

What the workers are fighting for is extra cut. Payment of this cuts is illegal as it is not appropriated for in the ministry budget.

If they are not ready to work, they should resign and move elsewhere. I believe their position will be filled within some weeks by peple who will collect payment for the job done only.

Weeks ke? Guys full streets dey hustle for jobs these bunch of thieves are there joking with their's. Let the ministry of finance announce vacancies and see if I won't apply.

My Ministry pays us the following allowances:

1. Monthly Hazard Allowance.

2. Monthly Journal Allowance.

3. Wardrobe Allowance payable every March.

4. Leave allowance every September.

5. Bar Conference Allowance in August.

6. Monthly Impress.

These are the things that motivate us to work round the clock.

Stop criticising these people for seeking for their allowances.

If Buhari, Adeosun, National Assembly Members, Senators, Governors and other Government officials can be paid allowances, what makes you think the workers shouldn't be paid?

Why did they omit it in the 2016 budget? Why did they not omit their own allowances?

Those of you supporting the Minister For Finance on this, how would you feel if your rights and benefits are stripped off you?

The unemployed graduates seeking 23k temporary job will give the best answer.

Buhari works on saturday and Sunday and till 12mid night everyday*

These civil servants work till 4pm and only a few of them secretaries and clerks work till later then that-

I don think it's fair to compare under any circumstance the minister or buhari situation to theirs.

A better comparism is the national assembly members and them angry

Who told you they won't be paid allowances? The N23k should be their basic salaries.

23k is the total package and they will survive with it.

The actions of the workers are embrassing in itself. Moreover, maybe these protestors are being used by outsiders to make the minister look bad.
