GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE GETS VEHICLE FROM OMOILU FOUNDATION

The Senator Buruji Kashamu-inspired Omoilu Foundation has donated a Sienna bus to the governorship candidate of the Mega Peoples Party of Nigeria (MPPN) in Ogun State, Mrs. Iyabo Ogunmefun.

Mrs Ogunmefun, who is of the Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of the state, was stupefied at the kind gesture.

Presenting the vehicle to the beneficiary, the State Coordinator of the Foundation, Comrade Niyi Osoba said the gesture was part of Senator Kashamu's commitment towards putting smiles on the faces of people irrespective of their socio-political leaning.

"This is to once again demonstrate Senator Kashamu's commitment towards uplifting the living standard of the people not just in Ogun East Senatorial District where he is representing at the red chamber but across Ogun State. This donation clearly shows that Omoilu Foundation is totally committed to adding value to people’s lives," he said.

Osoba enjoined the coordinators of the foundation across the state to concentrate on identifying “agents of change” and “development catalysts” in their respective local government areas for immediate assistance.

This, according to him, will give rooms for more people to benefit from the foundation's empowerment scheme.

An elated Mrs Ogunmefun expressed gratitude to Senator Kashamu and also prayed for divine protection over his life.

“I want to specially thank our distinguished Senator Buruji Kashamu for this wonderful gift. This vehicle will add value to my family in no small measure. Our movement around will be easier. I pray for God's protection over his life. If other politicians can be this generous, Nigeria would be a better place to live," she said.
