The Truth About The Zenith Bank Staff Kneeling Down by Nobody: 11:08pm On Jun 24, 2016
The man Kneeling down in the picture below is Bunmi Falana, a.k.a Bumshaka. Egbon, Bumshaka is one of the Ayo Fayose's boys together with Egbon,Goke Olatunji [G.O.K] Fayose's P.A in the past. Goke and Bunmi were together with Ayo Fayose during the 2003 Governorship struggle against Otunba Niyi Adebayo the then incumbent Governor.

When Fayose emerged as the Executive Governor of the State, he appointed Goke as Personal Assistant, while Bunmi [Bumshaka] was said to inform Fayose that he preferred a career job, hence he was fixed with Zenith Bank via the capacity of Ayo Fayose, and for his banking purposes.
He was brought in to handle all his banking transactions till 2006 when Mr. Fayose was chased out of Ekiti State Government House following his impeachment. After this regrettable rein of Mr. Fayose in 2006, Bunmi Falana [Bumshaka] was transferred by Zenith Bank to Ifo branch of zenith bank in Ogun State until 2014 when he was expectedly transferred back to Ekiti at the commencement of the June 21, 2014 Governorship Election Campaigns in the State as requested by Gov. Fayose.

This transfer request and the promotion of Bunmi as the Branch Manager are part of the conditions Gov. Fayose gave Zenith Bank before he could have confidence in any transaction with the Bank. About the ongoing drama titled, Ayo Fayose's Election fund by Zenith Bank; Fayose strongly felt disappointed in his boy [Bumshaka] in which the said boy realize and thereby resolved to beg his boss who by his chances rise to his present status in the Banking job.

To the notice of the General Public, Bunmi Falana a.k.a Bumshaka begs Gov. Fayose within his individual capacity, and NOT on behalf of the Zenith Bank. The way Bunmi Falana dramatised, by kneeling down to beg Gov. Fayose in the presence of the Zenith Bank Executives was strange, but left with no choice than to be short of words.

OP, i want to agree with you but I can't. You see eh, if you see buhari kneeling down before Obama right now, no matter how you want to look at it, Nigeria is kneeling down before America because Buhari is, unfortunately, the president of Nigeria. Do you get? Even if buhari feels a strong compulsion to kneel down, the power of his office won't let him.

That guy is a branch manager at Zenith bank. When he kneels down like that before a governor, Zenith bank is kneeling down to beg Fayose. If you like speak grammar from here to kilimanjaro. He should have thought about the power of his office before humiliating himself like that. And if Zenith bank doesn't fire him after this debacle, then it goes to prove my point.

I don't even want to comment on the fact that Fayose installed him as a branch manager before he could bank with Zenith bank. shows you everything that is wrong in this country. and you, op, even have the mouth to say it out. are you alright?

OP I believe you. You seem to know Fayose's nefarious objectives
Re: The Truth About The Zenith Bank Staff Kneeling Down by bitingcool: 6:20am On Jun 25, 2016
The Op might be an image repairer earning his pay with zenithbank

So you cam here to put everything on the branch head's head but still opened your mouth to further damage the image of zenithbank by saying employment is not by merit but by godfatherism and political clout.

Labor leaders looking for relevance should take this up. Very very wrong PR move... you should have just stayed on character assination of fayose and his history of theaterical press shows. Instead of hanging the unfortunate branh head to the gallows.

Shame on you and the brand you represent. You cannot even defend and protect your staff. How do you think they will protect you and your brand and image ?

You know very well in ur heart that Op has said the truth, but political bias makes u pretend like its not true. Who in Nigeria doesnt know how banks operate? And why will zenith bank go and kneel down for Fayose in front of camera, no matter the part in these shady deals.

Learn to speak truth and stop looking for excuses to help your greedy politicians

The OP has said the truth in your opinion but does that make it right? Must we excuse mediocrity? A bank manager goes on his knees in front of a governor and you want me to believe it's not the bank begging? Are you sure you are ok?

I know how Nigeria and Nigerian banks operate and i refuse to accept it. We can't be fighting for progress while tying 2 hands behind our backs. And if you accuse me for political bias again, I will curse your mother. If you don't have the comprehension to understand English, keep your phone and go beg someone to give you sense. You understand that sort of thing better.

Whether he begged in his individual capacity of not. He is a staff of Zenith Bank. Let's not reduce this to kneeling down activity.

The question still requires an answer - Did Zenith Bank finance Fayose campaign activities?

What an arrant nonsense and dumb reasoning! Whoever put up this story must be one of the zombiest zombies on this planet. Whether the said Bunmi was Fayose's boy or not, does it erase the fact that he is a staff of Zenith? Was he caught on camera kneeling like a primary two pupil in a local village school? Has Zenith management countered Fayose's position on the video? Gosh!

A zenith bank manager knelt down and begged a governor. That is it, however he got the job is not our business.

Can I kneel down to beg any human being even my benefactor ? Hell No. So Zenith Bank has knelt down for Ekiti Governor.

This same guy drives two Range Rover ....has several properties. It's no news that he's one of Fayoses right hand man. I'm almost certain the whole idea of kneeling down was planned by Fayose and Bumshaga not for Nigerians but for the illiterates and Okada guys in EKITI so as to sell it to them that Zenith bank came to beg him.
If Zenith bank needed to beg ...I'm sure the regional manager or someone higher up would have been sent and kneeling would never be part of the options. They dint plan a coup here nau.
I'm however certain as daylight that Zenith bank is also guilty and would have probably given money to him to fund his campaign. Fayose is a drowning man and would drag anybody down with him. Most of his utterances are half truths but there's still a truth in it.

But why has Zenith Bank not said anything regarding this matter, they were quick to deny the first time, why not issue a statement to Nigerians explaining what happened

Taking a picture of a man kneeling down shows how low Fayose is. No respect for anybody but want to be respected. This is a grown up man we are talking about. This is a strange thinking governor that is occupying a position bigger than him.

He was among zenith entourage/delegation when he knelt down. He could have met the gov secretly to beg. No need zenith trying to disown him now. He's the most junior in that entourage so it's understandable if only him chose to kneel....in his best interest. His immediate boss stood beside him also in a pose suggestive of apologising. No doubt zenith went to beg. It's just unfortunate that things went wrong, and the bank obviously is finding it difficult to officially put words together to explain it's involvement. I'm sure they will get over it anyway.
