And since European teams are the only ones who would give them the toughest tests and, European teams have tall players and they're also very good beyond the arc - he selected a team of players that can play defence on the perimeter and protect the rim.

Kevin Love and Gordon Hayward are the only two half-decent white American players and they both can't play defence, apart from the fact that aren't even better than anyone on this team (you can make an argument against Harrison Barnes, but Barnes plays defence). And picking either of them to play on a team like this one would make them a liability. Is that too difficult for you m0rons to understand?

Barnes was just off during the finals but he's a good player and good defender. Not elite level but good enough to offer this team something from the bench. K. Love is grossly overrated and he can't play defence to save his life. The only time I've ever seen him play defence was in game 7 of the NBA finals and shockingly he had the highest +/- (+/-14 at half-time) on the team. But he's going to be a liability on this team since they have more than enough scorers.

As for Steve Adams, I think it's cos they have enough big men on the team. They have Jordan and Cousins. And Green can also play 4 and 5, depending on the opposite. And against European teams, you need more perimeter defenders due how they can all knock down 3s and Euro-basketball is more about shooting.
