The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union, SOKAPU, the umbrella body of the estimated 5 million natives of the southern part of Kaduna state, yesterday, warned that its current generation and the next will resist the creation of Cattle Grazing Reserves, CGRs on its land.

A Press Statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna yesterday, and signed by the National President of SOKAPU, Barrister Solomon Musa, said that creating CGRs in Southern Kaduna would amount to rewarding herdsmen with the lands of the over 4, 000 natives of the enclave believed to have been killed by herdsmen since 2011.
