Eid Fitr prayer was concluded peacefully and successfully at the Ramat Square, in Maiduguri. The Eid which was led by the Imam Idaini of Borno, Imam Asil Alsunusiyyu.It was attended by Gov. Kashim Shettima of Borno state, His Deputy, Alhaji Usman Mamman Durkwa, the Shehu of Borno, the Chief of Army Staff, Maj-Gen. Yusuf Tukur Buratai, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-kanemi and other top government and military officials. Reports have so far peace in all parts of the city and state.
