Though the profits isn't unconnected to the fact that Nigerians are paying for petroleum products at exorbitant prices, even when the price of crude is low.

CHIJIOKE1314:
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 15YEARS THERE WAS 100% INCREASE IN THE PUMP PRICE TOO:

This govt should stop this nonsense, who doesn't know the amount of money they have been scoping from Nigerians since they increased pump price to N145 ..

How wicked!
So Nigerians should continue to suffer this only because you have found easy ways to toy with the brains of Zombies because this would definitely sound like a good news to them..

Until today no Zombie could answer with straight 'Yes' whether subsidy was withdrawn or not.. They kept singing into them the side they would love to hear..

The past govt has been managing the lost as sacrifice to Nigeria.. What has APC done? Snatched everything away from ordinary Nigerians, increased pump prices, electricity bills, water bills and all govt bills was doubled...
Mismanaged forex and subsequently the market reacted negatively and everything went south north...
Even 'Chewing Gum' increased in price..
The only thing that has remained constant with this evil govt has been income or depreciated in most cases..

So why won't they make profit to our detriment...

Zombies, before you quote me enjoy the only thing Bubu-de-Kunu-Rapper has left you for breakfast because I am sure most of you can't even afford Pap/Akamu/Ogi with Akara this morning. .

Another reason why heart failure is on the increase. Better consult your doctor.

NNPC major earnings come from sales if crude oil, not pms. But in a rush to play opposition, you arrogantly displayed your ignorance.

In all honesty, opposition here has become sheer foolishness. No insult intended.

Insufferable fool; NNPC made a loss of 35 billion naira over the last 15 years Even when people price of crude was about $100/barrel, they continued making losses.

And yet you mock this news, try to make it seem insignificant

Petrol 145naira/litre, kerosene 220naira/litre,
Diesel 180naira/litre
Cooking gas 2800naira for 7kg against 1700 naira.
Upon all these suffering this govt force Nigerians into, they are proud to tell the same Nigerians that they made a profit. Profit to whose detriment? What is the usefulness of making profit when the populance can't afford money to buy common kerosene while crude is 45naira/barrel. Politics of deceit

I know you will not attribute the profit to the fact that Nigerians pay more for petrol and not to the fact that your clueless buffoon has been kicked out and army of thieves cannot sell the country's oil and pocket the money.

How will same person be Minister for petroleum, Chairman NNPC, and an NNPC without a Board, he wasn't fire but elevated to the Board Chairman of NNPC

Very good....
Buhari, we don't want to hear Govt has no money oooo
You have increased soyrces of revenue more than your predecessors
1. NNPC making profit
2. Looters money
3. TSA
4. Ending subsidy on petroleum from 87 to 145...
5. Stamp duty payment by hardworking citizens
6. Excess crude windfall...budget was 38 price is 46 and above ...about 8-10 USd
7. Devaluation of Naira from 197 to 282....about 100 Naira difference (gain)
With all these , states should be able to pay salaries and govt should alleviate the suffering of the people through programs
It is time to usw this monies from various points to address needs of your citizens

Excuse me. I prefer it when they were making loss. I fill my tank with just N6000 weekly and now I have to cough out N10, 000 weekly to fill my tank and the worst is that my income is on a nose dive. Who their profit don help. Nonsense.

bros dey read news well before you just jump to conclusions.
Kachukwu wasn't demoted,he was promoted to be the chairman of NNPC board, rather than being a GMD.
Newspaper tabloids purported the story in a way that will make papers sell
