The CP reacted to the rumours making rounds in
an interview with Channels Television at the
State Command in Calabar, the Cross River State
Capital.

According to him, the information is false and
called on residents to go about their lawful
activities without fear as all security operatives
are up and doing to ensure the safety of lives and
property.

He clearly stated that, the state is calm and free
of militant activities.
