What's the unit? It turns the stomach when illiterates post stuff. Is it total power consumption in KWH (or MWH)? Definitely Nigeria doesn't have the capability of producing 67 GW (vision 5050) unless it's 67 MW you mean.

Its a lie. where is the light? Brandishing figures yet no light to show for it. I have said it before, Buhari is a lazy, clueless man. Providing electricity is now rocket science. SMH

Op I think it means 6717.5 megawatts .my area(in Ibadan) has seen a huge improvement these past couple of weeks sometimes up to 18 hrs of electricity, actually I had to set my freezer to the minimum.people say its because of the rains causing the hydro electric dams to produce more.not sure but the light has never been this good in over a year.just some months ago we were having light for a maximum of 2 hrs if they gave us at all

There is a difference between Mega-Watts (MW) and Mega-Watt-Hours (MWh). Check what you posted again for Megawatts.

Chai!! @ OP, you fall my hand oooo! This is energy generated and not power. If we can generate such power, I bet you the light will be constant 24/7 in Nigeria.

MWh is a unit of energy whereas, MW is a unit of power. Energy and power are two words often confusingly interchanged. Energy is the amount of work done, whereas power is the rate of doing work. To convert MWh to MW, you should divide MWh by the time applied in hours. MWh = MW * Hours, and respectively MW = MWh / Hours

Don't be sad, I expect that you will be happy I an enjoying my life and would pray for God to grant you what I enjoy. This sort of jealousy can kill, my Grandma told me she prays for young ones who want to succeed even without knowing who they are why will my enjoyment cause you so much distress? Why take PDP loss so painfully? I pray God heals the heart of wailing zombies they still remain our brothers and sisters who are experiencing serious heart problems because we drove a very clueless man from power.

Lair majority of the GENCOs are operating well below capacity or at zero levels due to gas supply outages.

Where is the frigging power going to come from?

Here in Abuja the very seat of the federal govt power supply has reduced drastically that we go days without any power supply.

Do you think these cheap lies will sooth Nigerians?

You will be quick to agree to any negative news about this administration whether its false/true.I spoke with somebody some few minutes ago who confirmed to me that the power situation in Abuja has witness tremendous increase in the past few days.He resides in Gwagwalada.

Its like a lot of people don't know the difference between MWh and MW. Energy generated is in MWh (or KWh) while Power generated is in MW. To know the amount of power generated you simply divide the amount of energy by the time it took to generate it. For example if it took 24hrs to generate 67175MWh then the amount of power would be 67175/24 = 2798MW. I hope this helps in clearing the air.

You are probably living in a ghetto where the people expect Nepa to supply them electricity even when they don't pay their bills.

Light has improved tremendously in my area in Lagos. Wailers will never admit it cos they are election losers.
Re: Power Generation Now 67175 Mega Watt (picture Included ) by AideeSheks(m): 2:16pm On Jul 13, 2016
Quite misleading indeed. Even looking at the table, we're still only generating 3094MW which is roughly half of the maximum we can generate.

The unit you need to look out for is already there in the report. You only need to look out for the MW unit to get average power generated and distributed. Check lines 3, 4, 5 and 6 for power generated within the period.

most places in Benin city are in total blackout so he's not far from the truth. My only concise was why he insulted the other guy since that guy said power has improved in his area
