You know the amount of 215MW plant required to ensure stable electricity? At this rate your won't have steady light in the next 30 years.

Mambila power plant alone will deliver about 3000 MW by 2019. That will double the current level.

[quote author=jahsharon post=47511726]You see your life Niger Delta Avengers. FG is building power plants in Kaduna, Niger e.t.c while you are bombing the ones in your region. Your fathers, mothers and grandfathers will prostrate for Buhari before he digs common soak-away in your region. [/quote

I wonder how you and your "likes" reason.
The project you are insulting Niger Delta for was built by GEJ. Pls google kaduna power plant.
Again it is an LPFO/GAS power plant, where do you expect to get gas from? Chad or Niger?
Pls use your brain, that's if you do have the capacity to activate it.

Yes because NDA has been bombing facilities. that's why most current projects are concentrated in the north and are none fossil fuel fired except few.
Remember,PDP was only able to raise the power by 3000MW in 15 years, only mambila will give us more than that by APC in 3 years.

215MW plant? Nigeria has a long way to go.
If successive PDP governments had been doing this little over sixteen years, perhaps we would have had a short way to go.

Appreciate good stuff. It won't hurt you if you do so.

If you don't have an answer just shut up lipsrsealed
Kaduna was chosen cos NNPC has a pipeline right of way to transfer gas from the region you are mocking.
The plant is also dependent on the resources coming from the ND. To light any furnace there, gas must flow "uninterrupted" from ND
GEJ meant well for Nigerians, hence sited such project across all regions.
If were to be your King of the North, he would've rather build the plant in chad grin grin grin

Even if NDA and IPOB are in my house the truth is what they are doing is wrong, what is the rationale behind you bombing oil pipelines and polluting your land and source of water that will take 30 years to clean because you want the man residing thousands of miles in sokoto or lagos to suffer is that what you called wisdom?

This most sophisticated and most educated Nigerians will always give a false impression that the APC is working. While anybody who knows his onions about projects know that no project had been started by this admin.

Equipment/machinery used in projects of this magnitude are not bought off the shelf.

Purchase Orders a placed before the equipment are manufactured (manufacturing takes time as the manufacturers have to source for the materials and other small equipment, testing done, before shipping and eventual installation. I have left out the engineering stage, which takes months, purchasing(including logistics) which also takes months, and then construction/installation.

Zombies always ready to deceive gullible Nigerians. grin grin grin

Didn't you read from the link you posted that this project was supposed to be ready by the end of 2014? It's like the billions paid for maritime university with nothing achieved. Ameachi stopped further pumping of money there and people started gnashing teeth. If he had budgeted billions and gone to commission in December, folks like you will hail GEJ administration instead. Get yourself together, this is the PMB administration.

Progressively we are moving if by counting 215MW in all local council, we will get there one day more so, 2000MW in Edo state inspected two days ago so, you can imagine that.

Re: Fashola Inspects Power Plant In Kaduna State(pics by 989900E: 6:22pm On Jul 14, 2016
"As of December 2013, the total installed or nameplate capacity (maximum capacity) of the power plants was 6,953 MW. Available capacity was 4,598 MW. Actual average generation was 3,800 MW.[1]

As of December 2014, the total installed capacity of the power plants was 7,445 MW. Available capacity was 4,949 MW.[2] Actual average generation was less than 3,900 MW.

The Presidential Task Force on Power's peak demand forecast is 12,800 MW (April 2015)."

By 2018 we should have over 17,000 MW installed capacity (hopefully) . . . if transmittable, that should guarantee roughly 20 hours of steady power supply across board; not where we wanna be, but a good place if doable, considering where we were coming from.
