Sultan Erdogan fanboys, where are thou? grin

Erdogan's plate was full: repression of the press and heavy handed crackdown on freedom of speech, providing aid jihadists in Syria and Iraq and allowing them free unhindered access through Turkey, illegal cross border incursions into Syria and Iraq, the genocidal crackdown on Kurds where several Kurish cities were wiped out, shooting down a Russian jet which in turn tanked the economy when Russian tourists stopped visiting and the general instability that Erdogan's actions brought upon his country are all possible reasons why these brave military officers have staged this coup

Erdogan's apology to Putin and his move to seek a detente in relations with Russia and step back from his ill-advised and delusional goals came too late. Good riddance!

Don't be so quick to rejoice.

If the bolded is true, then it means removing the man right now will be problematic as these militants will no doubt be in the country and might seek to avenge their patron no?

Guess why the EU has refused Turkey membership.

Political instability and underdevelopment is a trademark of any country that has ..... you know who .... in large numbers. That's why Nigeria suffers.

The EU is a community of shared values, which Erdogan didn't hold in high regards. This is the result of they ways in which he was treating his own people. There can never be any political stability when politicians don't do what they are paid for, serve their peoples.

you are right here.. if there is one thing that this coup means, it's the anglozionist victory since edorgan changed his moves all of a sudden and to turn back to Russia for help or restore relations with Russia..

this is really unbelievable, just at the time Russia is winning, these crooks have hijacked power again.

this is not a good news at all. there are even news flying everywhere that erdogan plans to let Russia use the Incirlik airbase, the one NATO is currently using in turkey. this is red lines for the anglozionist empire that wants the blood to continue running in Syria.

this is not a goodnews at all.

this means just one thing.. they want the war in its current position to continue and to always have bad turkish and russian relation.. the anglozoo cannot afford russia and turkey becoming allies in the region.

these guys are crooks, evil.

I strongly prefer a military rule in Nigeria.

We ain't ripe for democracy yet...

All morals faded off cos of yeye democracy.

No more respect for orderliness

No more respect for public offices

Bunch of looters since inception of democracy

Why are our military this soft when needed the most.

Imagine me training my beautiful girls in the oyinbo ways when there is culture and customs.

Turkish military need to be an eye opener to our military MEN

Just imagine the cost of governance in Naija during democracy compared to military rule...

So much sycophants and partisans political kids at the detriment of their lives and many more generations to come.

Nigeria!!! A failed country.......

Back to Sender. Military rule is what destroyed Nigeria.

Military rule, state shall announce N100 billion annual budget. At the end of the year, not even development projects totalling N50 million would be made. N95 billion would be stolen.
Worse, the military leader would deploy soldiers as governor or administrator to a state different from the soldier's state.

Worse, Military rule made northern generals redraw the political structure of Nigeria by proliferation undue large number of states and undue large number of political constituencies in the north, with today's consequent undue overnight-representation of northern Nigeria in all aspects of Nigeria's political process, including in the National Assembly.
In fact, military rule made southern Nigeria now look like a small attachment to northern Nigeria to form Nigeria.

Most of the modern developments we have in Nigeria today came after 1999 when military dictatorship stopped in Nigeria.

On the other hand, Scully95 , you may be wrong seeing that Erdogan is calling on citizens to go on the streets and protest (cannon fodder lol)

Vladimir Putin is fast becoming the New Police of the world.
Old empires are falling. With Brexit, unity of purpose is not easy to come by in Europe. NATO shall suffer.

With Turkey going anti-democracy, a new wave of global political disequilibrium shall set in.

Sweating? Nah. I bet the state department is secretly praying for this to be sucessful.

Turkey's MENA policy have not been in sync with NATO. So this is actually not a bad thing. The same secenario played out it Eygpt.
