Recently a NLer was complaining that many female monikers were actually males and that such fake females were actually out to deceive, scam and perhaps hypnotize their unsuspecting male "admirers", or stalkers. This got me thinking. 1) Guys shouldn't be so concerned about who's male or female on a faceless forum like this. 2) Let's concentrate on the topics being discussed, rather than sniffing around people's profiles; except if you are looking for your partner's photo. 3) If you really are the type who seeks sexual relationships on NL, I think Facebook or Instagram should be a better platform for you. 4) Assume that every profile is a unique online identity, absolutely different from the offline personality. Anything short of this, blame yourself when you eventually get your fingers burnt. 5) Those who show many personal details on their profiles deserve some respect and and not being called out. 4 Likes 1 Share |
