Keep telling yourself that, This is an elitist idea. FYI this is a public private partnership, meaning the State government and the private sector got involved in this project. The state government could as well call on the private sector to join in the development of low / middle class residential areas, you know the larger populace? the ones who actually elected Ambode and his "progressives"?

do you really know what it takes to develop an area?
most places in Lagos are unplanned n poorly urbanized.
if ambode moves in the bulldozer to those derelicts, you guys will be the ones to start wailing.....
okorocha is doing something similar in owerri n all he receives is curse......
pls let eko Atlantic City be....... it's the proper thing to do

AbI o, let me say, I've been past and into eko Atlantic as recently as last week, there's mostly sand and the odd structure. Therefore it can be deduced that this media report is just to manipulate market sentiment favourably.

Let those who are bombing investors keep on bombing.

Let those who are protesting and fighting the government keep on fighting.

Let those who are building new investment hubs keep on building.

Very soon, the results would be clear for all to see.

It's people like you that this project is giving sleepless nights.

You might probably develop a heart attack on its completion.

Take heart.

There is no money to pay workers, no money to empower students, no money to empower the Nigerian youth, no money for power supply, no money for infrastructure in the densely populated middle / low economy class residential areas and YET there is money to spend on frivolous "eye candy" projects. SMH Nigeria. So much for being "progressives"
Oga wen last have heard Lagos state Government owed salaries?

Sure. Lagos keeps growing but the result would be more people trooping into lagos, Lagos becomes overpopulated, crime rate increases, the burden increases for the government, high cost of living, etc.

If other states are suffering, Lagos bears their burdens somehow

Very smart comment.......

I keep saying this same thing.....other cities in the south, east and north have got to really step up and massively improve their infrastructures in other to reduce the extensive pressure on lagos......Lagos cannot handle the number of humans that keep trooping in.....

Kudos to the Lagos state Government.......
