Even if we have less policemen, that is no reason why a commissioner will not be appointed police protection.

Only in 9ja, police man that is meant to protect 170 million Nigeria will be assigned to one man, wat a shame to the police force.
The keyword is PROTECT. He was PROTECTING the commissioner from the rain na

But honestly I don't see anything wrong with it.

ofcourse he should be appointed with a policeman, but the police man in question should not been seen wearing his uniform and doing dometic work, like holding umbella for the commissioner, dat should be the work of the commissioner's PA, dat why the military is respected, never can u see such, bloody civilan dat is wat u will here frm the military man, except if he is a retired military man.

Agassa dam.... that dam is the only thing that looks like a stream here in Agassa. that was the water I bathed when I first visited that village.

Got to know that even bore holes dry up during dry season.

I believe the police man is his aide. It is normal for aides or orderlies to do such. After all thats part of their job and they are being paid. Let's not start comparing Nigeria with other countries.

He should be demoted! I think the use of the word "Honorable" should be banished in Nigeria! because none of these politicians ever acts honorably!

Absolutely! Nigerians are treated in this manner because they have accepted that it's okay.
perharps every nigerian should get their own police to follow them around for protection and holding of umbrella grin. Or is it one rule of one and another for the rest of the country?

After thorough inspection of OSARA DAM, the Hon Commissioner and his team pay courtesy visit to the Sole Administrator of Itakpe Iron and steel company before he proceeded to waterworks in okene.

He also visited Ihima where several abandoned water projects were also put on record to ascertain the level of damages.

Not left behind are other abandoned and ongoing projects across Kogi Central Senatorial District for proper monitoring and statistical evaluation.

He then crowns the inspection at his Excellency Country Home AGASSA where he inspected the EKUKU DAM.

The commissioner after listening to complains from the staff promised to get back to them with positive response.

Remember, Kogi central has been suffering from acute water problem before now due to vandalization of some of there equipments. They also lack adequate staffs and structures.

The people of Ebiraland are grateful to his Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello for taking this bold step through the honourable commissioner to solve the acute water problems in the state.

With this very step I can say that His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello is a man of his words on his NEWDIRECTION mantra.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry pleaded with the team of government of Newdirection to work with sincere mind with his excellency to deliver on his promises.

Kudos to the team/Yahaya Bello.

Una see wetin I see.You see wetin the police man dey do?E dey right or him dey fall him hand?

Keep praising saner climes ooh, the same saner climes that came to steal and keeps stealing from Africa. If we were to be developed as them, where would they find their raw material or raw mumu to develop their saner climes. After they fought world war 2,they shipped their weapons to Africa and instigated uprisings in every region, (Nigerian Biafran Civil War, Uganda Genocide et al) comes to mind. The simple reason Black Africa has Failed to develop is because we have failed to have an Identity of African Nationalism, We copied foreign system of government, it failed, we copied their laws it failed, we copied their culture it failed, and we still keep on copying. We were living well before the white man came, although crude but we were better off, but our forefathers lost focus and lost ideas. The day we will Identify with Africa and love one and other as proper human beings should, that is when we will grow, but if we keep comparing ourselves to foreign nations that are exploiting ours resources, they my great grand son might still find Africa in a far more worse state than we currently endure.
