Abagworo:
So APC cleared everything. The wailing continues for the old PDP godfathers. Okorocha has really retired them and what we have as top politicians in Imo today are young men mostly in their twenties, thirties and early forties.

kahal29:

Don't be surprised my brother

Are you guys serious or trolling? angry Imo is in SE, incase you are not aware...

kahal29:

Like I said earlier.. .. Those who celebrated the Supreme Court judgment that killed the card reader will one day wail and wail till they will be tired of wailing

True dat... said so to one nonetity jubilating on behalf of Wike... 2019 will be a walkover for APC, the only thing left for PDP is to ensure SCR finds it way into electoral law before then, minus that na wailing galore.

Isaac Alfa, INEC, Elections, KogiAir Marshal Isaac Alfa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged winner in the Kogi East senatorial rerun election.

The Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Lucky Ovwasa, made the announcement on Sunday in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria.

He said that Air Marshal Alfa gathered a total vote of 56,572 ahead of his opponent from the Labour Party who scored 111, 908 votes.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Folusho Adebanjo, had described the rerun election as very peaceful and violence free.

He also commended the effort of electorate for the peaceful conduct of the rerun election.

The election was characterised by low turnout of electorate in all polling units of the eight local government areas of Kogi State.

In Imo State, INEC has also declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Nkenna Nzeruo, winner of the Oru East State Constituency rerun election.

However, final collation is still on going at Okigwe Local Government Area as residents await the final result from the rerun election.

Elections are not won online cool

Most PDP candidates believed they'll win with the Southeast sentiments against APC and failed to carry several people along...

Surely my candidate will never make these mistakes in 2019. ...

God bless whoever emerges victorious in this contest cool

You ve made a very powerful statement and point that only the wise can comprehend. How can you win election in Okigwe zone without the support of people like Tony Chukwu....... From Ehime Mbano that his people practically worships. A man who has empowered his people so much to the extent that shares their pain and joys. He is always around his people.... Be it in church harvest, burial or wedding ceremony?

Okigwe North Senatorial Rerun Results:
Apc = 48,921.
PDP = 40,142.
Difference = 8,777.
Outstanding Registered voters. 13, 000. Reelection to take place in 15 polling units mainly in Isiala Mbano and ihiteuboma. Why can't Inec save that money? How on earth will they cancel it? When it's very obvious less than 7000 will turn up on the rerun day, if any

Sometimes I wonder why our Igbo brothers and sisters antagonise Rochas just because he is APC. Finally the man knows his onion and he has shown he is not stupid as some short sighted Igbo people think.
