While speaking in an interview, Femi Fani Kayode says he did not steal any money and that he does not regret working with Jonathan.
He said the EFCC just arrest people without investigation and that while he was in detention, he met a woman who was detained by the EFCC together with her husband because she supplied food during the campaign. The EFCC arrested her because the money she was paid was from NSA.
Fani Kayode pointed out that there was no way the woman would know the source of the money because she did a contract and she is supposed to be paid, as a result of this, she and her husband were detained for months and were only released after they brought back the 10 million naira. He said this is what is actually going on with the way EFCC handles allegations against people.

He said he is ready to fight in the court to prove his innocence and if others have kept quiet, he will not.

Yeah I support u on not keeping quiet, one party system is not the best for us, so talk when u feel like there re other issues to talk about certainly not the ones in court! My opinion though.

Our democracy is in big trouble even the innocent can now be detained for months.I use to love the idea of EFCC before,but now my heart bleeds.
Once someone don't like your face, you can be accused and detained for many months.if you were supposed to win a jack pot or do a contract or even contest election,before you are out,the opportunity is gone.
Just thinking:what will happen if all the opposition presidential,gubernatorial,senatorial,candidates are accused of stealing btw 10-30 million each like 2 months before the next election, and EFCC/DSS decides to detain them for 3 months and INEC enact a law that all contestants must sign a particular form before the election .
