op..please when i tried to put a template glass screen guard on my phone, the home keys failed to work well though all other part of the scree was working , then i removed it and the keys functioned well ... please help i really need the screen guide...my mobile is tecno w3. thanks

Hello Samwayne154, after restore factory settings, the phone will be like when you bought it, which means all the files and apps you downloaded in the phone will be wiped out, as well as contacts and pictures/videos/music etc that saved in your phone. Before restore factory settings, you can back up (or move)those data in SD card or PC (contacts can be saved in Simcard). After it is down, you can move back those data to your phone. (Some apps may can't be moved, so you need to restall it). Thank you!

Thanks for the info but I actually tried updating the app and download from playstore which didnt work out. I opt to taking it to Carlcare and for the past two weeks plus they ve not solved my problem or given me back my phone or replaced it with a new one as they promised. This is really frustrating expecially after spending so much and not getting value for what i spent.

about your contacts not completely loading.. Did the problem start recently or it has been so..and is it your pre-installed phone contact application? If so there's a problem with the app and i'm afraid you may consider resetting your phone. If you don't want to, get an alternative phone call application like ' Zero Dialer ' from playstore

about getting sim card changed after rebooting.. There maybe something wrong with either your sim port or your software..visit an engineer to fix this

Please I need urgent help.
I use a Gionee. Sms, gallery, call log and notes not showing. I get sms notification but when I open I get empty conversation. The pics are in files but not in gallery. There is an icon near battery and network bar that wasn't there before.

it means the j5 model is highly secured...you can try one more time to root it with king root.kindly search on opera mini "king root download"

note:if phone has been rooted and unrooted before...it wont root again
