Amidst growing complaints on the various
challenges facing Nigerians, President
Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday appealed
to Muslim clerics to help his administration
calm Nigerians down.



He said his government was aware of the
challenges facing the average citizen, hence
the need for the clerics to carry the message of hope to the people that things would soon improve.



According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President made the appeal during a meeting he had with the Council of Abuja Imams at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.



“Keep calming the people. The leadership at
various levels is trying to solve the problems
of poverty, unemployment and insecurity
bedeviling the country,” Buhari requested
religious leaders throughout the country.




Earlier, the Chairman of Abuja Council of
Imams, Dr. Tajudeen Adigun, was said to
have, on behalf of the delegation, commended the efforts of the Buhari administration in the war against corruption and terrorism.

Buhari is a very wicked bigot. I blame him for all the problems affecting this country, you won an election and the thing that gives you joy is to sideline those that didn't vote for you. We Nigerians can like to misbehave anyway, it's not everyone that will support you, the best way to prove your worth is to spread development and appointments across all zones of Nigeria. Look at the issue the Avengers it's just a very simple matter to resolve, just pay the amnesty money to the ex militants pending when the govt comes up with a sustainable programme in terms of industrialization in the Niger delta region. There is poverty in the land, it pains me a lot when some unscrupulous elements, foreign based Nigerians and mummy thank you kid flood the internet with their lame excuse just to support Buhari government. To them they want to revenge the east because of the campaign incidences. Not knowing they are indirectly placing obstacles to their progress along the way. We need another re-colonisation again this time it will be our brains to upgrade it to the latest progressive reasoning putting the welfare of your neighbours and country in general first.
