To those who expect Nigeria to fly F16 Falcons, F18 Hornets or other front-line military interceptor jets, just be glad Nigeria operates combat aircraft that would give good account of themselves as dog-fighters or ground attack platforms in a regional clash, which is good enough, since huge budgetary allocations for highly advanced military aircraft will wreak a toll on the funding of other national priorities, especially with the current drop in oil prices on the international market, and the attendant economic slowdown experienced by Nigeria in consequence of that depleted national revenue stream.
