Another Round of Genocide in Lagos communities as Soldiers throws bombs at innocent civilians

Nigeria government has again carried out another phase of genocide as they bombarded Lagos communities in their search for the Niger Delta Avengers.

A resident of the affected community who confided in family writers said that the military attacked Fatola, in search of the Niger Delta avengers, adding that houses around the area were bombarded as over 1800 People were counted Dead. The source further disclosed that Nigerian Air Force where using fighter jets throwing napal bombs and shelling the whole area.

In an effort to make sure that the Nigeria soldiers dealt bitterly to the Niger Delta Avengers, they gunned down over hundreds of the fleeing residence who were not the members of the Group.” Another resident simply identify as Olawale said people in the area had already deserted their homes due to the bombardment.

From the ongoing investigations conducted by Family Writers intelligent source, it was revealed that the code name of the OPERATION IS, OPERATION AWATSE, initiated by the defence headquarters to dominate the area with a view to flushing out all manners of criminals.

But today reverse is the case. THE OPERATION AWATSE as codenamed has significantly proven a failure as they have exterminated the members of Lagos Community. We there uses this medium to call for the intervention of the international communities, world leaders, and human right organization to quickly caution NIGERIA ARMY,and bring them to book for all the whole genocide carried out in Nigeria

The last thread the OP created was about how the ibos would join the Militants once the Nigerian Armed Forces launch their campaign against the former. Now that the Armed Forces in collaboration with Local Vigilantes in Yorubaland have started snuffing life out of the ijaw militants that have been terrorising residents in Lagos and Ogun, We expect you ibos to make good your threat by taking up arms with your ijaw militant overlords instead of creating another inane thread

The claim that Nigerian Air Force ground attack jets dropped NAPALM munitions on civilian targets, killing nearly 2,000 of them at locations less than five minutes flying time from the commercial capital of Lagos, is a very serious allegation indeed, which makes the low level of interest in this topic puzzling.

Napalm bombs, which spew burning petroleum jelly that ignites homes, vehicles and people, is rightly among the weapons banned from military use by the Geneva Convention, to which Nigeria is a signatory, therefore, if photographic evidence of civilian women and children burnt with napalm were to get published online in the next few days, there will be an immediate international outcry, with attendant bad press for the Nigerian military and government.

Field commanders coordinating the assault on pipeline vandals must be careful to minimize civilian casualties, and should also avoid using napalm if indeed there is such ordnance in stock despite the international ban on the use of napalm warheads.

As a rule it never looks good when troops mow down women and children in their villages. That will unnecessarily tarnish the image of Nigeria's highly competent military forces, be they engaged in hostile operations on land, sea or aloft.

If indeed soldiers are opening fire on anything that moves in all areas where pipeline vandals have been operating, then living in proximity to any pipeline in the conflict area and beyond is becoming a highly dangerous proposition indeed, and one cannot help but pity the villagers who have no means of fleeing their homes along the Lagos Lagoon shoreline, when those federal jets scream in low over the treetops and proceed to lay the area to waste in a thunderous firestorm, while ambush squads cut down all who flee.

Who the hell is this? You guys always have something to say the the military is winning. Mr man go and sit down. The AF said there was no airstrike in such area.
Read below;

DHQ
Reacting to the development, Defence Headquarters, Abuja, said there was no aerial bombardment of the Arepo because of the critical infrastructure which involved oil and gas pipelines playing pivotal services to the nation’s economy.
Acting Director of Defence Information, Brig-General Rabe Abubakar, who gave the clarification last night, however, said what happened was that the military and security agencies, in a joint operation codenamed Operation Awathe, under the Command of the Defence Headquarters, carried out a normal security operation to wipe out pipeline vandals and oil and gas criminals bent on sabotaging the economic assets of the nation. He noted that there was no way the military could have bombarded the area because of the environmental damage that would also be inflicted on the area. Abubakar said: “Arepo is of critical importance to the nation and the infrastructure on ground has cost the nation huge resources to put in place. It is true we have received complaints and petitions about the activities of vandals and criminals causing problems and destroying pipelines and siphoning crude. “But the military did not and cannot bomb the critical economic infrastructure in place there.”

Your clarification is much appreciated, Tdayof. In this day of live video streaming online, it would have been reckless of Nigeria's military commanders to allow civilians to be incinerated with napalm, even if they did happen to reside near active oil pipeline bandits, located in areas that were also far away from critical infrastructure whereby air-strikes could be called in.

One can see how rumors of aerial bombardment can arise though, given that surveillance aircraft were seen circling the area just prior to the army laying down mortar fire to address the coordinates of pipeline bandit groups possibly spotted from the air.

The Nigerian army does not have napalm bombs.
They need to clean out all illegal settlements along the entire coastline of yorubaland. A reformed yoruba militia would have done a more thorough job.

It is too early to determine whether or not the pipeline bandits were near or far from the villages occupied by innocent civilians, when the naval and/or aerial shelling commenced. Over the next few days, it will become clear whether those killed in this assault were criminals, villagers or a combination of both the guilty and the innocent.
