Meanwhile, Mimiko knows Jegede cannot win. He's only doing this to fulfill his promises to Jegede after d latter helped the former to secure some properties in Dubai. But the confusion of APC in Ondo state is making it 50/50. Else, it would have been a proposed landslide victory for APC.

Come what may, PDP can't win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo state.
Mimiko’s Popularity has grossly waned in the state, and to worsen the situation, he is supporting a candidate who comes from the same senatorial he is from.
Mimiko has to go for a candidate with huge financial muscle that can match the APC money for money, despite the fact that his anointed candidate is a weakling politically.
If APC could field either of Aketi or Oke as their candidate , they will win the forthcoming gubernatorial election overwhelmingly.

Its not about party here brother, if you live in Ondo State, you will see how Dr Mimiko have really shortchanged the people. Dr Olusegun Agagu left close to N40billion in treasury when he left office, ODSG have collected more than N1trillion from FAAC under Dr Mimiko, what has he achieved with it? Ondo State is the only oil producing state in the southwest, l stand to be corrected that infrastructural wise, the state is the worst in the zone, ODSG is indebted to the tune of N200bn today, what has Dr Mimiko done with the state's resources? How can the only oil producing state in the SW be owing civil servants 6 months salary? Comparing Ondo to Osun State is like comparing USA to Afganistan. Dr Mimiko is now cunningly hiding under Akure Agenda to put forward an Akure indigene Jegede forward as governorship aspirant to cover his tracks, he knew that Akure voters population is huge, he has failed. He failed to realise that 60% of inhabitants of Akure are non-indigenes, Mimiko is a grand failure.
