MASSOB (The Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra), on Sunday finally replied the Federal Government and MEND ( The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, saying the condition is inconsequential.

MEND in a satetment by spokesperson Jomo Gbomo, made a proposal to the Federal Government to free Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, only on the condition that he puts an end to the agitation of Biafra Republic” in efforts to end the crisis rocking the south east and south south regions.

MASSOB leader Uche Madu in reply describes Kanu as someone who can never betray the number of Biafrans that lost their lives fighting for this course.

He said that Biafra isn't a religion that may be renounced or forgotten. "Biafra is an identity, culture, tradition and existence of cluster of nationalities.

It’s not personal or individualistic", he further added that,. Uche Madu urged the president to save nigeria from additional diplomatic shame by letting the court grant bail to Nnamdi Kanu and others. "We shall keep on pressing for their release including the actualization of Biafra without violence", Uche Madu vows.
