As its stands today Nigerians are looking up to the party to extricate them from the directionlessness state of the APC led administration of General Buhari, the only way the party can rekindle the passion citizens once had for it is by electing a Chairman that commands the respect of members , a man who has what it takes to lead the party out of its current trouble waters,

1 . His perception by Nigerians as anti Poor

Despite his wealth and strings of business interests that has benefitted immensely from public confers Dokpesi is not known to have supported any cause that is geared towards uplifting the living standard of either those within the vicinity of his business interest or the population at large.
PDP is a party known for giving , its chieftains are known for the worthy causes they support either intellectually, socially or financially.


2. His Malevolent treatment of Workers & Labour

Despite the huge patronage his media empire Daar Communications had courtesy of AIT & Ray Power, Dokpesi treated his workers like slaves , as far back as 7 years ago when owing salaries was a taboo , Dokpesi was owing up to 8 months salaries and will still be barking out orders to staff , this is not the kind of National Chairman PDP needs at a time like this !
What moral justification will Dokpesi have as PDP chairman to talk about non payment of salaries in an APC era when he is owing staffs 18 months salary?

3. Politically inexperienced in Party affairs.

Dokpesi is politically naive when it comes to party administration, apart from being campaign manager for Bamaga Tukur for Gov of Gongola and a member of the botch campaign for Adamu Chiroma's presidential bid he has no hands on experience in managing a party.
The PDP is in its weakest state at the moment following its defeat at the polls and the crisis it has inflicted on itself , it does not need an rookie chairman who will start learning on the job, it needs an experienced hand who knows how to pull the strings and balance equations when it matters most, Dokpesi does not have such credentials.

The role Dokpesi played in the lead up to the first convention in port Harcourt is still fresh in the minds of party members, his penchant for switching sides at the slightest opportunity makes him in fit for such an office at a critical time like this, the party needs a leader who is willing to sacrifice his ambition for the survival of the party not a man who is always willing to sink the ship at the slightest provocation.

Dokpesi betrayed Chief MKO Abiola whose Ship he sold and diverted the money into his pocket, in 2010 he rained all manner of insults on President Jonathan and the party in his bid secure an IBB presidency, in recent times he has made so many remarks which has embarrassed the party leading to the party at some points dissociating itself from him , this is not the kind of character that the party needs right now as National chairman.

Dokpesi is as unstable as the waves on the sea shore, the fact that he was with you in the morning dies not mean he will not switch sides by evening, in 2011, he brought up a million and one FLIMSY reasons why he dumped Jonathan for IBB , the party at this time does not need such an unstable fellow .

7. His Unfortunate involvement in the Arms Scandal.

If there is anything PDP needs now its a breather from the EFCC and DSS who are hell bent of destroying the party for the benefit of their principal.
It is clearly evident even to a blind man that Daura and Magu's number one priority is to destroy PDP at whatever cost , making Dokpesi chairman of the PDP would achieve this without shooting a bullet!
DSS and EFCC already have Dokpesi by the balls , by simply squeezing it a little APC can get whatever they want rendering the party Useless forever!
Having a chairman in and out of court on corruption charges is not healthy for the party's image, Dokpesi is innocent until proven guilty but having a potential convict as a party head will not do us any good.
