NUMEROUS ACHIEVEMENTS OF GOV OKOWA SINCE ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE ON MAY 29TH,2015 ARE VERIFIABLE-PATRIOT DANTES ODOGWU.

“A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.”
― Mark Twain.

I wish to state categorically that I consider myself too busy to join issues with anti-Okowa online users knowing fully well that they are mischief makers and will always suffocate the truth irrespective of the numerous achievements of Gov Okowa.

Today, online news media are more part of the problem of online misinformation than they are the solution. That’s depressing and shameful.

For sometime now there have been misinformation in some media outlets against Governor Okowa which were meant by some persons and groups to discredit, misdirect misinform, and mislead the general public. This is a fundamentally dishonest practice. They should stop polluting the information stream.

Sincerely I do not understand the justification with which detractors were measuring development in Delta State. I therefore urge them to pick up their viewing lens so they can see clearly the many accomplishments of Gov Okowa since assumption of office.

Recently, we embarked on project Inspection/Commissioning across the 25 local government areas and a cursory examination of the policies and programmes of Governor Okowa ably confirms the widespread view that this administration has performed creditably to the admiration of not just few Deltans but the generality of Deltans and I thought it was only imperative for the many projects and programmes to speak on our behalf since they are verifiable rather than waste my precious time attending to issues that will not add value to our prosperity Agenda.

A statistical summary of completed and on-going projects eloquently attests to the wholesome commitment of this administration to the well-being of its people.

On road construction, twenty-Seven (27) roads were completed and commissioned while thirty Nine (39) roads are presently on-going and would be commissioned upon completion in the near future.

In the Education Sector, three (3) Primary Schools, one (1) Model Secondary School, one Technical College and the Faculty of Law Complex, Delta State University, Oleh Campus were commissioned while two technical colleges namely Agbor and Sapele Technical colleges will be commissioned in due course.
The Model Secondary School at Ashaka is under construction and will be completed soon.

The Construction of Orerokpe Model Market, Orerokpe, is at an advanced stage of completion and same thing applicable to the Sapele Market. The Owa-Alero ultra mordern market is under construction too.
Gov Okowa made the creation of jobs a top priority. We can attest to this through his deep commitment and unshakable resolve to improve lives and ensure prosperity for all Deltans, through the STEP, PPSP,YAGEP, the Micro-credit scheme for small and medium enterprises, and other Job creation programmes.

As at April 30, 2016, a total of 17,173 (seventeen thousand, one hundred and seventy three) private sector jobs were created by the Okowa-led government. This figure consists of 6,800 (six thousand, eight hundred) direct jobs and 10,373 (ten thousand, three hundred and seventy three) indirect jobs of both skilled and unskilled workers.
As a Special Purpose Vehicle, the Office of the Chief Job Creation Officer accounted for 7,522 (seven thousand, five hundred and twenty two) of these jobs while the remaining 9,651 (nine thousand, six hundred and fifty one) were created through projects, programmes and initiatives implemented through the various MDA.

His accomplishments are too numerous to mention here.Refresh your memory by following us online and you will be amazed that Gov Okowa;s SMART agenda is truly on course

My assignment therefore as the Senior Special Assistant on New Media is to make sure that Deltans and the general public are constantly kept in the know about the activities, accomplishments, challenges and other sundry matters that pertain to the Government of Sen Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa
Moreso, speaking as a patriotic Deltan, I think that the prevalence of negative articles, posts and comments particularly those targeted against Governor Okowa and his Government generally is unarguably unnecessary. I therefore admonish all mischief makers to exercise caution and restraint in their threads knowing fully well that Deltans are wiser now and can not be misguided by hate publications against the people’s Governor and his prosperous administration.

Quote me rightI am not saying that the Governor of Delata State and his administration are above criticism but my take is that anyone who is driven by a sense of altruism and selfless desire for a greater and more prosperous Delta State would always seek to utilize his/her criticism in obtaining beneficial accruals or dividends to all Deltans ;inclusive of the Governor himself.

Yes, Gov Okowa may not be perfect just like every one of us but what is indisputable is that His Excellency is a man that is irrevocable committed to giving to Deltans a Delta State infused with Prosperity for All.

Nobody has the monopoly of knowledge and wisdom especially when it relates to governance. Delta is for us all and we must all contribute our quota to make her great especially at this time when the economy of the country is visibly on the decrease rather than engage in derogatory, insulting, denigrating and mischievous publications.

While we commend the exemplary patriotism, selflessness, hard work and dedication which Gov. Okowa, has demonstrated since his assumption of office towards ensuring that prosperity gets to all the door steps of Delta state, we also pray God to give him Divine wisdom to be able to take Delta to greater heights.

How can a Governor construct all these listed projects without media broadcasting it, in this era of Photocracy?
Is the Governor claiming Silent performer?
Is there any picture to back those projects up?

Kindly provide pictures..... thanks

Op, project 5&29 is the same thing. Beside, the said project is no dualisation! What the government is doing is putting walkways and dividing the road; without any espansion.

Do you mind the fools. Same jeddo ughoton road I pass everyday. All they did was resurfaced it and now it's being listed as constructed and rehabilitated

Okowa is the worst performing governor in Nigeria. The man has no business there. All the roads in warri are so terrible and no amount of media propaganda will fix that.

Brother don't justify Okowa. Constructing few kilometers of roads which are most of time resurfacing does not show competence.

He should jack up his achievements with quality projects not eye-serviced skeletal constructions

This thread, just like everything in Delta state, is moribund.
