Friends and proffessionals in the forum, an arguement just errupted this afternoon i need to know which is right.my lecturer in my prof. study today tried to let us know that STANDARD TRUST BANK ACQUIRED UBA,pls i need to know if this is actually true,because i was so sure that it was the other way round.kindly post reply with good reason and if possible relevant info to backup your reasons,thx.
no arguement pls.

it is the other way around. UBA acquired STB thats why the combined name remains UBA

bro, from the info on their website the guy seem to be correct,because according link below, the top management are all from stb,i looks like a merger on paper but in fact an acquisition.can someone post their (uba and stb)financial position before the merger,maybe the truth will be on this details.
