Yeah. Its more louder and immersive (i am using my trusty Sony MX ear-buds to judge). Ringtone and alarm loudness got a bit of a boost too.

That reminds me, i get close to 2 days of use. My usage pattern is ultrasaving mode during my commute, 6hrs of browsing using Chrome. Data is switched on through out work hours during which Whatsapp, Telegram and Gmail are used intermittently.

Secondly I have never updated this phone before. Bought it last December n I haven't done any update on it. I can see people talking about update. Make Una put me through o. My phone is infinix hot4

Firstly, for the Notifications not making a sound, ensure your phone volume is not at the minimum. Check this by pressing the volume botton. A drop down menu will appear at the top, tap the arrow down to view more settings. Increase all the sliders to the max by sliding each toggle to the right.
You can also do this by opening SETTINGS...then SOUNDS and increasing all options to the max. Also check that "Do not Disturb" mode is switched off.

If that doesn't work, open SETTINGS, tap NOTIFICATIONS and check Whatsapp, Facebook etc to ensure that "Show Silently" open is not on.



For your second problem, please upload a screenshot if your phone info. Open SETTINGS...scroll to the last option (which is ABOUT PHONE)...scroll down again to the bottom, then take a screenshot.
This will help us know how to proceed.

Okay. That was where i was before i got Nougat update. I had to keep tapping the reload button in SYSTEM UPDATE (its the first option in your screenshot).
You can install Opera VPN from Playstore and switching it on. This ensures that network connection is not part of the problem.

Hey for those who miss having a notification light on the Hot4, there is an app on Play Store to help with that. Just search for Front&Back flash notification app on Play Store and install it. On the app, you can select front flash, and set it to blink once every 5 seconds. You can also select apps to monitor for notifications.
For the app to work properly you need to remove it from the list of apps that will be closed after screen off in Xpower app and allow it to startup with Xmanager app. I hope it helps.
Works fine on my X556 with Android 7.0.
